Michael Hill Prairie Mall

Do not purchase anything in this store. They will sell to you in a hot minute, and suggest that you would like something other than what you want. They will convince you to take the care plan and then when it comes time to deal with the issue, everyone disappears like magic. The manager passed us onto her manager and he told us he is on leave until August 22, 23. It takes 3 weeks to get sizing and they assure you that they will put a rush on it and you will have it in 2 weeks, you won’t, believe me. I bought a wedding set in early January and it’s March 21st and sent it away 3 times just for it to come back wrong each time and they want to send it back a 4th time. I took my set and asked for a refund on the care plan, we are still waiting for the refund……I also took my set to a professional Jeweller in Edmonton and they advised me that 2 of the diamonds in my set have been overheated and burned brown, this is from the constant resizing and lack of skill from the Toronto Jeweller that Micheal Hill uses. If I would have known that the service and quality of this jewellery was so poor, I would have avoided this store all together. I am still fighting for a refund and suspect this will not be resolved anytime soon. The manager at Micheal Hill in Grande Prairie will smile and grin at you, mocking you as you express your disappointment with their service and lack of support. This is the worst service I have ever had and will not purchase from them again.

So my daughter was given a gift of a ring purchased from Michael Hill. The ring wasn't so much her style, so she wanted to exchange it for another, but no that wasn't an option. This is the only store I have ever heard of that WILL NOT exchange an item. I myself have purchased many pieces from Michael Hill, but will never purchase another item from them. Sorry to say, but you have lost a loyal customer.

New management is terrible and staff are very pushy. This used to be my go to jewellery store but I will not be returning.

I had the most amazing experience at Micheal Hill today. A few weeks ago, I snapped the chain on my favourite/most important piece of jewellery. I was devastated, and very frustrated with myself. Today I picked up my chain, and it was flawless. However, being a total idiot, I managed to snap my chain AGAIN, in the same fashion, on the same day. Even more devastated, and completely embarrassed, I returned to Micheal Hill with the intention of sending it out to be repaired.. again. However, to my surprise, the staff at Micheal Hill immediately replaced my chain for me! When I tried to pay them for it, they insisted that it wasn’t necessary.Thank you so so much Micheal Hill, you were so kind and understanding, and it meant the world to me. I am so very grateful.

Stores are nice , need attention to the outside , no where to take your hot lunch on a nice day, hardly any seating around the building, lots of trash in the lot poor traffic signage , not a friendly place if you are not a local familiar with the layout

The jewellery selection for affordable engagement rings was slim. I did find the perfect one with my (now) fiance, the girls helping us were less than professional. She told us she had to keep her phone on her because someone was meeting her outside soon, we were told we got one complimentary sizing with our purchase by a woman my man had previously dealt with, their response was she said that?

Customer service is absolutely outstanding, all ladies on staff were friendly, but a huge shoutout to Janeth, who went above and beyond to help us find exactly what we were looking for!! We refuse to buy jewlery anywhere else in GP.
