This has a beautiful walk by the Elk River. From there we walked around Maiden Lake. Lots of nature to take in.

Good for picnics, organized group activities for all ages, walks, fishing. Today, there was a children's story book that you get to read as you walk along. Great idea to promote literacy and engage children outdoors!

Beautiful area next to Elk River. Lots of shade. Lots of picnic tables/benches. There's a pond on the other side of the park from the river. Patrolled frequently by Bylaw so I would keep your dogs leashed.

I've been going to the duck pond since I was a child, it's such a special place and I've always loved it. Now I take my kids there as well, and they love it too.

Great quiet area along the river. Good pathways for family cycling and walking with plenty of river access

Wow! Envious of all those who get to enjoy this lovely park on a daily basis. It is spectacular in town - along the river, trails. Most of the park is on leash for the dog's - but there are some designated off leash areas.If I lived there, I'd walk those trails every day. Plus it's a great place for picnics, frisbee, running, cycling, etc.

Nice place to hangout with friends. Also do biking on trails. Also have walk with the dog. Also great for playing outdoor games. During summer events are happening. Good for fishing too.
