Our dog loves it! He comes home and sleeps. No doubt he is busy all day. Everyone in our family loves the pictures. Working on training now!

Great place to get your dog trained. My girlfriend and I took our 5 month old puppy for basic training, and Arlene (the trainer) was fantastic. She was an excellent communicator and taught us everything we needed to know on how to train ourselves and our pup. The difference between our dog going into the training and now that we've finished it are night and day. I know they also offer social classes (to meet other dogs and dog owners and go for group walks) and agility classes (train your dog to run obstacle course things) for more advanced training that we haven't done yet, but would love to in the future.Arlene's training style is very effective and not cruel to the dog. No shouting or chain/choke collars. She also taught us how to avoid certain things that cause stress or fear in dogs, and how to train the dog to overcome those so they are more calm and loving without being super hyper or aggressive.I would recommend this to any dog owner!

The Dog Stop takes such great care of every dog that comes into their care. I trust them with my puppy and love that they give daily report cards and post pictures on their social media platforms. They offer more than daycare too, grooming and training are other services that I have taken advantage of. My dog loves going to daycare, he is so excited every time we arrive and the pictures show just how much fun he has when he's there! They provide structure during the day with playtime, crate time and lunch (if needed). The facility is well set-up with play structures, cots and agility equipment, as well as an outdoor area. Communicating with the staff and owner is enjoyable and I always have quick responses by phone and email. I really appreciate being able to get my dog in for daycare last minute if needed, and that they have strict policies on all dogs being up to date with their vaccinations in order to attend. I highly recommend The Dog Stop for your dogs daycare, grooming and training needs!

The Dog Stop staff and the owner Arlene are caring and take good care of your dog. Arlenes staff are well trained, in dog training and doggy daycare. Arlene the owner is passionate about you, the owner taking the training and utilizing it with your pet the ensure you have the best experience with your pet! Ive had many dogs in my lifetime and know that every dogs trains differently than the rest, however it is also up to me the owner to do the work! I would highly recommend Arlene and The Dog Stop for your Dogs training and daycare needs!! 5 star plus in my books!!

The Dog Stop is a clean, friendly, well-run facility that has helped me and my dog tremendously. We started taking classes when my 1 year old dog became very nervous and reactive, making it hard for us to go for walks or be around other people and dogs. Now she is much better and I have the skills I need to feel confident handling my dog in different situations. She also loves her agility classes which she can now do off leash in front of other dogs and people, without me having to worry about her reactivity. It is so much fun! Over the last few years I have also met lots of new friends through training, obedience and agility classes. The owner Arlene is very knowledgeable - she has studied with experts from all over and is continuously seeking out new ideas and different techniques for her clients to try. She has a solid foundation and philosophy for her training programs and knows what works, but she is also flexible and can help her clients explore different options until they find what works best for them and their dogs. She is excellent with all of the dogs and a great teacher. She is calm and confident, and the dogs respond really well to that.

We have been utilizing the services offered by The Dog Stop for over a year in a variety of forms - private day training, basic obedience, social obedience and day care services. We have two dogs who are siblings, and with that we encountered a number of various behavioural challenges that we did not have the experience or knowledge to correct. Over the course of just over the year, The Dog Stop has been able to help us correct a number of those challenges and help our dogs live a much more fulfilled life. It is still a work in progress, but Arlene (owner) and the team are constantly giving us tips and tricks on how to continue to strengthen their skills, which are highly effective. Arlene makes herself very much available whenever we have questions and takes the time to explain the theory and practical application of the techniques. Prior to working with The Dog Stop, our dogs were highly reactive, timid and scared of a number of encounters, including other dogs. Fast forward to current day and we now have our dogs out on walks with significantly less reactivity, the ability to interact with other dogs and much calmer. I would add - you will only get as much out of it, as you put in.

Recommended by my son's roommate. Very caring staff, introduced our new dog, a rescue from Texas, to give him some time to expend energy and socialize. Have signed him up for basic training as well as half days twice a week for socialization.

I have been taking Tucker to The Dog Stop since he was a puppy over 9 years ago. Arlene (the owner) and all her staff have always been amazing. Tucker loves going to socialize with other dogs big and small, and I get peace of mind knowing he’s in good hands. Thank you all for taking such great care of Tucker.

Being a dog lover for life, I had been to a few trainers before. I decided to give Dog Stop a try because I had heard great things about them. Also, their location was close, training hours were good and their price was right. I am really glad I did. Arlene, the owner and head trainer was the perfect blend of enthusiastic but not shy to tell you if you are doing something wrong. Exactly what a good trainer should do. In my case, my pup is a severe puller and screeches when we walk. Arlene assessed our issue and took the time to provide perfect solutions to my problem that have worked tremendously. I cannot thank Arlene for going above and beyond my expectations. Her basic obedience class was exactly what we needed also. She really cares about her students and really helps to make your pup a fantastic addition to your family. I highly recommend The Dog Stop!
