Nobody should have to drive, and hour out of there way to a different town, just too apply for a passport. Worst service ever, disrespectful, ignorant ... Perhaps, Parry sound staff needs some training Thank you to the staff in Bracebridge, for making it very easy.

Just visited this office and want to share the excellent experience we had. Honestly, reading these bad reviews we were bit hesitant when we reached but we found all the officers there extremely friendly and polite. There was no rush at all and they were respectful of the appointment slots. The lady who processed our passport application forms was very polite and thorough. If your paperwork is complete and you carry all required originals, you will have no problems. We traveled all the way for 2 hours early morning to be here and we definitely don't regret the decision! Thank you Service Canada Parry Sound for your help!

The lady in our local service Canada Parry Sound needs to go. She is rude and a narssist. She on a power trip and is not helpful. Gave me the wrong info. Re my passport.I had all my paperwork and documentation. She refused to accept my birth certificate? There is not a thing wrong with it. The day before she had told me it needed to be pristine? It's a laminated one from 1980. I had to drive to Barrie to get my passport. All because she wouldn't send my birth certificate. I'm exasperated!!! I see in the other reviews others have had the same issue with this woman. She should not be working there.

We had a very unpleasant experience. My husband needed to get his passport renewed in a rush because we were going on vacation within a week and we didn't realize it had expired.We realized we had to go to Toronto to get it done, but we wanted to stop into our local Service Canada to speak with someone in person to make sure we had all the appropriate paper work before we drove the 2 hours.The woman we spoke with was rude and intimidating for no reason. She made us feel like we would be 'lucky' to get an express passport process approved because we were driving and didn't have a plane ticket to show our reasoning for the request. Also she was generally rude and unpleasant. We got to Service Canada Toronto and the representative was very nice. To put a rush on the processing was not a big deal at all. We had to pay a fee which we expected and that was that. We had an extremely worried and stressful drive for nothing. Very bad experience, not impressed with our local office. Customer service and being a nice human being goes a long way.

Went in to apply for my passport. It was the middle of the day on a Friday in November. There was no wait and they were friendly and helpful.

Went in for my passport renewal, fast and professional people, the lady that helped me was great, I brought my birth certificate and old passport, plane ticket and she took a copy of my license, fight was exactly 45 days from when I went to them, they mailed my info, it’s been 3 weeks and I just got my passport mailed to me, excellent service and I didn’t have to wait in Brampton for tons of hours

I've been trying to get an access code for over a week. So I can see the progress of my claim. I've spent hours on the phone, been to our local office twice. What are our tax dollars going to? Why can't I speak to a human being for maybe 3min to get my access code? Is that to much to ask for. Everything has not been fast tracked and streamlined Mr. Prime Minister. This is bulls#!÷

I would like to echo Archana's positive review. I had a great experience visiting this Service Canada location to submit a passport application. I had an appointment booked and they were on time and friendly. They were also very happy to have folks like us visit from out of town to do passport applications. Highly recommend

Went to this office today with a friend for passport services. This was by far the worst service I have experienced. She refused her birth certificate because it wasn't in pristine condition". There is a slight wearing on one the side of the card's laminated edge
