Railtown Animal Clinic

Unfortunately we lost our 4yo Poodle Cooper just before Christmas. He battled with liver disease and took a turn suddenly while visiting Grande Prairie and we couldn’t get into a clinic to put him down. We called Railtown Animal Clinic and understanding our situation they fit us in right away as we couldn’t see him suffer anymore. They were so great with me and my family. They had a room at the clinic that is very comfortable and not just an operation room so I knew Cooper was comfortable and clam as he didn’t like vet visits. This was the hardest day of my life and their willingness to help us when we needed it most is truly appreciated. I can’t thank them enough. Thank you to all the staff!

hands down the best animal clinic in grande prairie!! You can tell as soon as you walk in the door that they care about your animals needs and concerns and they never make you feel silly for asking a million questions, they are happy to help always!! they have taken such great care of my cats for almost a year now, and they treat them as if they were their own, just so nice to them. Every-time i’m waiting i see everyone working, smiling, and always being positive! What i really like as well is that they are very accommodating in regards to price, they will try everything in the most affordable route before resorting to higher priced testing when necessary! I’ve never left that clinic feeling like i didn’t get my moneys worth, they are absolutely the best!

A clean and inviting clinic with staff that care. My first visit here and I am hooked! I am making this my pups main vet clinic moving forward. Dr. Sopko was amazing, gentle, and you can tell he puts his heart into his work. I highly recommend booking in and experiencing for yourself.

Absolutely AMAZING! The staff is very friendly, accommodating and professional. The facility is very clean and modern.Dr.Adams was amazing and very knowledgeable, I loved that she wasn't forcing medication for our dog but to find the root of the problem and more natural approaches.One recommendation has already made a difference and we can't wait for our dog to start the other reccomdation to see that difference as well.Thank you from our family for going above and beyond for our family pet and going with an approach we prefer without us having to even ask!

Staff is amazing here! Dr. Budd is great with our furbaby, and everyone at Railtown Vet understands he is not just an animal he is our family. Everyone is knowledgeable and caring. Would highly recommend!

We have had 3 visits here with our fur babies and would highly recommend. Very friendly atmosphere and all staff will take the time to answer any questions you have. The Dr today took the time to explain everything to me and answer questions so I understood the test results. Our chi usually vibrates at a vet off and here she was chill as she could be.

They were absolutely amazing with my dog when he got neutered!! They really give you the run down on what to expect and the aftercare process. They answered my million questions without making me feel like I was bothering them or holding them up. For a couple of days afterwards they called to check up on my dog and make sure he was all good. I highly recommend this place! I was able to book my dogs surgery in a very timely manner and the cost of the neuter was cheaper than the surrounding vets.

I just have to say the level of compassion the people have here is absolutely top notch! By far the best vet in town. I will never go anywhere else. Thank you to all the staff members for your hard work, dedication and support.

Absolutely amazing. We are so happy to have moved our boys over to Railtown Animal Clinic, and feel that they will get the personalized attention that we have been looking for. Kaylee, the RVT was really kind and attentive, and had educated answers for the questions that we asked. Dr. Sopko was very sweet with our arthritic senior and our younger nervous pup, and didn’t rush his examination. He was very thorough and intentional in everything that he did, and seemed happy to engage in dialogue about our boys. Our experience was wonderful, and we look forward to a long relationship with the clinic.
