Walnut Beach Resort

Lovely boutique resort! Great room, amenities. Gotta love the pool, two large hot tubs, and the beach - all a stone's throw from each other.

We skied Mt Baldy from Walnut Beach which was lovely. It was nice to drive most of the way up there with no traffic, although the resort wasn't that busy. We were initially quoted a different price for lift tickets on a ski and stay package which is why I didn't give service 5 stars. All other services were excellent and the hot tub was lovely after a cold day on the slopes. Lovely rooms and a good price.

I wanted to leave a positive review because of the nice setting and facility, however there are a few issues. Our first issue was being placed in a room directly above the underground parking garage door. It was very loud, which made it hard to sleep, and sleep in (not very relaxing). Also, the walls are paper thin at this resort. I travel for a living and stay in hotels every week, this room was one of the loudest I've stayed in. Lastly one of the main reasons we booked here was for use of the amazing pool and hot tubs (which were great!) however, the hours were shocking. The pool did not open until 10am and they expect you to check out at 11am. This leaves very little time to use the facility. We are early morning people and would have loved to enjoy the pool facility in the morning but could not before leaving...

Overall fantastic hotel, amazing lake front location with beautiful views of the lake and mountains, great outdoor pool and lounge area with two hot tubs AND private beach front. Staff were all very polite, friendly, courteous and professional. The only downside is it's not as walkable to downtown amenities as some of the other hotels but it's worth the short drive to choose this place!

Overall great experience! Staff were really helpful (and kind) with every question we had. The pool and hot tub had incredible views of the lake, the food at the restaraunt was absolutely delicious! The room was clean and smelt nice. Great lake view, beautiful pocket windows! Highly recommend!

I recently booked a stay with them but had to change my plans due to unforeseen circumstances. I’m very impressed with their customer service. Cancellation policy was clear and straightforward, which made it so easy to cancel my reservation without any issues and that’s also when I’m less than 10 days away to check in.This time I missed it but will definitely be booking with them again in the future!

The room was good. Wasn't easy to switch channels. Bought a movie... couldn't finish, fall asleep. The next day, the movie already expired.The food at the restaurant wasn't good at all. Had ribs for dinner, and it was very dry. Had eggs for breakfast.....it was tasteless. The fruit plate and croissant were good.

Overall, fantastic. 4.5 star definitely. Location is right on the lake. Private beach and pool. Kid friendly. They have multiple BBQs available for every guest to use. The suites are amazing and stocked. The House Keepers are incredibly kind and helpful. 2 hottubs adjacent to a large beautiful pool.The only issues I had - being there as a couple - is the number of kids (they're incredibly loud and splashing water relentlessly) and the food. Food is good, but that's it. I'd cook if I was you or eat elsewhere.

I cant say nicer things about this resort. I came here on a business trip in October and didn’t get to actually experience much except work but I loved my room and the prices and stay so my partner and I booked a getaway the last few days for our birthdays and had such a nice experience. Even though we got a studio Chardonnay room with mountain view, it was the most spacious room with a full kitchen and stove. Our view was gorgeous. We had plans to go out and about but enjoyed staying at the resort mostly. The heated pool and jacuzzi is so luxurious and the customer service (especially phill) was outstanding! There should be more people like phill at other hotels and resorts ! Thank you for an awesome time and we will be back in the future.
