Segal & Associates (Accountants)

I have been using Segal & Associates for several years now after being referred by a friend. Ashlee Segal and her team are quick to respond and helped me straighten out my complicated US taxes. Now I use them for my Canadian taxes as well.

Has been our trusted accounting go to for decades for all our US and Canadian family and is now effectively serving our second family generation.

Similar to prior review from Karim, I had a very bad experience with Segal. Referred by my company to work with Ashlee for cross-border services, but Ashlee regularly did not reply to my emails when I asked basic questions like how to get set up and what documents she needed. Segal was unprofessional and disappointing (especially given a warm reference). Sadly, I would not recommend. Personally, I found another provider (CBTA) who is prompt and courteous in response.

Was recommended by a good friend to Ashlee. Called and sent her an email in the middle of August for an urgent matter, automatic reply will get back to you shortly". That did not happen! Followed up today
