John Tripp was recommended to me by a fellow motorcycle owner. I've always found John very competent, helpful and fairly priced. And he's also funny. By funny I mean that I dig his peculiar sense of humour. I imagine that some other folks might not appreciate it as much, hence, probably, some of the less shinny reviews he might get every now and then.I also like that he is not pushy when it comes to repairs. He leaves you with an educated choice about what needs to be done. He's probably not the cheapest around, but again, going for the cheapest is a very bad idea when safety is at stake.Having your motorbike in perfect working order is of paramount importance, and it starts by bringing it to a real professional when maintenance is required. I consider John to be one of them. His shop is very clean and well organised. On few occasions he was also quite accommodating when things had to be done rapidly.All in all, a good address. Always entertaining.to visit.

John is a great bike mechanic, honest, straightforward and a nice guy as well.Was very generous with his time with a problem I had with my bike and found time in his schedule to do me a safety cert.I'll definitely go back.

Tripp has safetied two bikes for me now (a 73 CL350 and a 77 CB550) and I have been impressed with his service both times. He knows his stuff, is a pleasure to deal with and also has some serious welding and fabrication skills. If you need a safety or some work done on your bike (or a great deal on tires) go see him. He's the real deal.

I do most of the work on my bike myself.But I was in need of a front tire.I don't have the equipment to do this and came across tripps at a charity event.He gave me a great price on a front tire and the work was exceptional.I would recommend them to anyone looking for a trusted and tallented motorcycle mechanic.

Been coming to the shop for over 18 years. John has done the top end of my bombardier ski doo 600, tuned my ysr 50's carbs, carb kit on my 1986 honda interceptor, 3 tire replacements on my cbr600rr and answered all my questions when I would do work on my own stuff. He knows his stuff. I've sent friends and family over with all great feed back. A gem of a guy!

This guy knows his stuff, he's honest and up front about costs. Came highly recommended by at least two different people I know who are long time riders. I bought a used bike where the former owner took apart half of the original parts, John was able to put it back together like new! He also completed my safety, plus some other regular maintenance (oil & filter). Will definitely be going back for all maintenance and repairs. Took an extra day than what he estimated but well worth the wait. Also, I think it's just him and one other guy that works on the bikes, so it's completely understandable.

John is the best. He picked up my new bike I bought, safetied it and put on new tires at a great price and true professionalism. Since I was a teenager I’ve used Tripp and always the best service.

He was there in a pinch. Looked at my bike, from top to bottom. When old mechanic failed me.Shop is so clean also. When your room is in order you head is.
