Voyageur Houseboats

My Wife and I had a great time on such a gorgeous houseboat! Jeremy was extremely friendly, had great communication, and gave helpful and interesting information about the area. The kayaks were an awesome bonus and we had a great time using them to explore our mooring location. We would definitely recommend Voyageur Houseboats to anyone!

Two friends and I had the pleasure of spending a great last weekend on one of Voyageur’s houseboats last weekend. From the great communication beforehand (to clarify details and expectations), to a quick check-in mid-trip, a gloriously peaceful mooring location, and a very thoughtfully appointed floating cabin with all the amenities, it could not have exceeded our expectations more! We can only hope to get another chance to visit ONCE WORD GETS OUT! Thanks for a great time! Shannon (and squad)

Great experience on Eagle Encounter Tour. Jeremy was a great contact from the first phone call about tour details through cancelation due to the weather conditions, rescheduling for later date and finally as a host on the tour. He is a great person to talk to and a true professional in what he does. We saw so many eagles on the tour, their nesting places, lots of other birds, a beaver and a deer. I definitely recommend the tour and am perfectly sure I will try other things their business offers.

Jeremy took my wife and I on a late afternoon Eagle Watching cruise on June 22nd. We had such a great time, saw a bunch of eagles, ducks, geese, pelicans and even a trumpeter swan!Jeremy was knowledgeable, friendly and was great to communicate with leading up to the cruise.We would definitely do this again!

This was an incredible experience! The boat has everything you need and more, including kayaks, a hammock, and a working bathroom that even includes a shower with hot water. The hosts were friendly and extremely helpful. It truly is a unique getaway, and we look forward to booking again next year.

We had a fabulous vacation on the houseboat, though 2 nights was not long enough. With check in time either at 3 or 5pm and check out at 10:30am, we essentially had one evening to settle in, a full day to do some kayaking, swimming and relaxing on the hammock, and the final morning to have coffee and breakfast before cleanup and packing.The cabin is quite spacious for 2 people and well equipped. The windows all around allowed us to continue to enjoy the amazing views after it got too cold or when mosquitoes drove us indoors.Our mooring location, close to the end of the English Channel, was perfect! Beautiful, quiet & sheltered so the water was like glass, resulting in reflections of the scenery and moon in the water. It was breathtaking!We were able to make bacon & eggs in the kitchen and BBQ burgers/hotdogs on the outdoor grill.Though we packed way more food & drinks than we needed, Jeremy even called to offer to bring us anything we might need.Our safety and comfort were clearly the priority. USB plugs were available to keep our phones charged and he asked we keep them on and charged in case of emergency.Our one issue was with the water pump, which he mentioned would be replaced.We look forward to booking again for next year!

Jérémy and Pierre have a wonderful business they are running! My husband and I loved staying on one of their boats. We were moored in our own quiet nook and only had 3 other boats come by during our stay. Their boats are super easy to navigate and easy enough for those who are not super outdoorsy to use. We loved having access to the kayaks to explore and the hammock is heavenly! I will recommend Voyageur Houseboats to all our friends and family! And we hope to book a longer stay in the near future.

10/10 experience! We spent two nights on the boat and it was so great to disconnect from everything and be surrounded by nature.Our mooring location was peaceful and we took the kayaks and paddle boards out to explore many times throughout our stay.Jeremy and his team were super friendly and he told us everything we needed to know before leaving, so we didn't have any issues not knowing what to do when he was gone.They provided sheets and pillows, so all we needed to bring for bedding was blankets. There were a few games on board which came in very handy on the one morning when it rained for a couple hours.We saw lot's of wildlife, eagles, deer, turtles, and the binoculars on board were used many times throughout our stay. Our friends who fished caught several fish throughout our time on the boat – there is something to be said about eating freshly caught fish.There were four of us on the boat and we never felt cramped.All in all, our experience on the Voyageur Houseboat was excellent from beginning to end and for anyone thinking about trying this for themselves, I HIGHLY recommend it. This is a memory we will not forget!

Our houseboat experience was fantastic from start to finish. Our captain Jeremy’s passion and knowledge of the lakes and islands is evident. The tour out to our stay location and back to the dock was so interesting and beautiful. We had no worries travelling on the high water!The houseboat is gorgeous and filled with such craftsmanship. They have thought of everything! We definitely recommend this unique get away! It was a great way to spend our anniversary!!

Amazing experience! The houseboats are so cute and well-designed. The included kayaks and paddle boards are such a great idea. The communication was excellent. All of my emails were answered very promptly. We were running low on drinking water while on board and the owner brought out more within 15 minutes of us texting him. I will definitely be booking again in the future!
