Shoppers Drug Mart

My favourite store so far. very clean and well stocked with self checkout options. Cosmetic section is great. They have huge collection of perfumes and colognes too. Pharmacy needs more people some times, I heard they were paging for cashier for straight 5 minutes but no one noticed. No wonder their waiting time for prescription pick ups is too long.

Most recent refill was picked up by a friend as I had surgery. The pharmacist made it very difficult to pickup and when they called me for clarification was very rude. They told me if I had problems with them to switch pharmacies they don’t care about the loss of my business so I’m going to. Not only am I taking my business somewhere with honest, kind employees I’m taking my business where they actually fill your medications when they say they will.

Always slow, totally disorganized and now rude. I curse this place every time I have to go in to get medicine, and promise myself I’ll change pharmacies.It’s become a housefly joke, they either lose things, give me inaccurate information (sending a text saying my prescription is ready when it’s not) or out of stock but don’t bother to call me and let me know! This weekend I waited in a short line for a ridiculous amount of time with no apology.Today I called (without attitude) to order a recently prescribed prescription and whomever I talked to was very short with me, then basically slammed the phone down.Def moving to another drug store asap.Brutal.

In the two years I recieved perceptions from this particular Shoppers, not once where my perceptions ready on time, always shortages, constantly not recording refills and a huge lack of customer service. Always, saying they will call when shortages arrived and never did call. Finally moved to London Drugs!

Went into shoppers to pick something up, I had an ok experience but when I went to go leave a man had just come from picking up his medication at the pharmacy and the cashier at the front berated him asking him to see his receipt and so he showed her his receipt but then she proceeded to follow him out the store, even though he had shown her his receipt. She literally went looking for him once he had left like that’s unacceptable to me.

No option of zero star , this is for so called supervisor there , i forgot her name , starts with D, wear glasses. So rude , no need to yell at customer. I am surprised who made you supervisor. I bought toothbrush which was defective , she declined the return stating it’s open. She said I need to call Colgate . Why should I , I bought from shoppers not from Colgate . And shoppers return policy states if piece is defective it can returned or exchanged .U tell me how will I know it’s working on not if I don’t open or use it. She keep saying I am not listening , well lady you were not listening. I stand up for my point and end up getting exchange by involving other cashier . Not going there anymore.

One of the worst pharmacy experiences I've ever had. Been here twice now for a special order my daughter's medication. They are so unorganized and I've seen them turn so many customers away for prescriptions they had submitted days ago. All the girls working back there have no customer service skills and some are so rude. DO NOT RECOMMEND!Update: just saw Shoppers typical cut and past response. Maybe take a look at all the 1 Star reviews and send someone down as a secret shopper and see the mess you have on your hands!

TWorst experience ever. This evening I bought an eye pallete and decided to return within 5 mins. I went back to return. First the person at front stated go to cosmetic to return this. The person at cosmetic said the item doesn't match with receipt bar code which I bought literally 5 min ago. Then she called supervisor. Supervisor tried to scan it and said the same thing. Other girl mentioned he can do it manually by saying no receipt, but he refused said he is new and doesn't want to do anything. He went somewhere without saying anything and I was still waiting with no answer. After 5 mins, I was told to go back to main cash desk. Supervisor started helping others (scanning) which took 5-10 mins and i was waiting in line. Then he started scanning my receipt again and repeating same thing bar code doesn't match. I asked to talk to manager or supervisor, or they can check their cameras. But he said there's no manager at this time. He is supervisor and doesn't know what to do. Guess no one there to make decisions when there is problem. After 20 mins he called someone else who took receipt and walked away ro cosmetic without saying anything. So I asked supervisor is this lady suppose to help me and know what to do he said yes she is my supervisor should be able to help you." So I followed her and same thing scanning multiple time and same answer. Also said " can't override this otherwise I'll be fraud and can loose my job" and also said the other person is also lying she is not even supervisor. Wow

You'll discover that the reason the pharmacy is open on Sundays and until midnight is because they need this long to fulfill the operations a regular pharmacy achieves during normal work hours. They consistently don't have prescriptions ready - leading to patients' prolonged suffering, they are impossible to reach by phone, and the whole pharmacy appears poorly managed with zero communication between shifts. I cannot understand how the franchise owners allow this pharmacy to continue limping along in this state - get your house in order. Avoid at all costs if you can.

Was walking in the aisles and stepped on a wet floor being mopped, I immediately apologized to the woman and she just sighed and said oh my goood". I was completely taken aback by this from a customer service representative. Wasn't wearing a name tag so I couldn't catch a name but it was in aisle 6 at 9:20pm on Sunday March 26th. Hoping management actually does something about the unprompted attitude. Regardless I'll be shopping elsewhere and changing my pharmacy for sure."
