Blush & Raven Bridal Boutique

Blush & Raven is the first place where I found dresses that I truly felt like myelf in. I'm from Edmonton, and had previously visited 3 other boutiques that were local to me, and despite finding some gorgeous gowns there I was always hesitant to say yes. So I decided to make the trip down to Blush & Raven and I am so happy that I did!Just from walking into their beautiful space I knew that visiting this boutique was going to be worth the trip. My consultant/stylist Kat was amazing and I felt that she truly listened to my needs and was able to interpret my vision when I wasn't even able to! Even when I went back for a 2nd appointment to confirm that I found 'the one' she still pulled dresses, and let me try on a few that caught my eye just so I could really be sure. I also really liked that all of the fitting areas are separate from each other, so even without booking out the entire boutique you still feel like you are getting your own exclusive experience. Additionally Kat has been sending me regular updates on the status of my dress which has been very reassuring.Blush & Raven had unique designers that I wasn't able to find anywhere else (unless I was willing to make a trip across the country) and they ended up having my dream dress that I had saved years prior. I have the worst choice anxiety, so even despite my fantastic experience, just the fact that they had the dress for me, a dress that I don't find myself double guessing and questioning if my made the right decision is all I needed. I am so excited to get my gown and look aboslutely stunning on my big day.

I was very excited to visit the boutique but left sad, irritated and disappointed. I submitted an appointment request and they were able to get me in the following day. However, when I got in after the 2.5 hour drive it was apparent the stylist had not looked into what would be possible for my timeline. Instead I was shown only sample dresses - almost exclusively dresses I had requested from the online inventory. When I asked about specific designers rush processing I was told they ‘probably’ couldn’t get it in time. And that shipping would cost extra. Worse, I’d informed the stylist that my budget was up to $5,000 (not including rush, alterations or shipping) and while their site indicates that the majority of dresses are between 3 and 5k I was treated as if I was unable to afford anything other than the limited number of off rack dresses with the stylist again responding by saying specific dresses were ‘probably’ out of my budget. The one sample dress I liked had a price tag of 2000 and I was told at the end of the appointment which only lasted 40 minutes (note: appointments are paid) that it was $2,599. This was a very disappointing shopping experience and I would not recommend to anyone who doesn’t have an unlimited budget and timeframe.Edit: I called the boutique a few times today but was not able to discuss with Sara. I do not believe the characterization below is accurate. While my appointment request did note that I’d prefer off rack it also noted I’m open to anything that fits in the timeline. Simply, I would expect Blush and Raven to be able to tell me which brands could be received in time and which to avoid. If the sample dresses were the only available in the timeline I would have expected that to be communicated. My guest did ask about a specific Monique that was over budget, that was after asking several different times if there were any other gowns available for try on. I certainly understand the timeline is tight which makes it all the more important to communicate clearly. In fact I called a shop in another city that was able to discuss with me the turnaround/rush for many of the same brands at Blush and Raven. Ultimately I decided to increase my budget for a gown I feel excited about (though they did provide options at budget).Your response appears to be an attempt to justify poor service and lack of preparation which is disappointing.

Anyone looking for the wedding dress MUST go to blush & raven bridal boutique. They really listen to what you’re looking for and it is such a magical experience!!! I usually can’t make up my mind and I found my perfect wedding dress right away!! Highly recommend them. I went to one other wedding boutique before them and just not the same experience, the blush & raven team really knows what they are doing, highly trained stylists and are so friendly and welcoming!

When the dress came in, I was stunned how perfectly it fit even before any alterations!Blush & Raven’s selection of bridal gowns is simply stunning, with a wide variety of styles and designers to choose from. The ladies at the boutique are knowledgeable, professional, and genuinely care about their brides. They go above and beyond to ensure that every bride who walks through their doors feels special and taken care of. They are always available to answer any questions or concerns you may have.Overall, I highly recommend Blush & Raven to any bride-to-be who is looking for an exceptional and stress-free wedding dress shopping experience. Their amazing customer service, stunning selection of gowns, and attention to detail will go above and beyond your expectations!

The location was easy to find and had convenient parking options. I felt like I was at a luxury bridal shop as soon as I entered the doors. The girls working were kind and welcoming. Yasmine was the best to work with and listened to all my wants and dislikes (I think she even read my mind a couple of times). I would recommend this destination for anyone looking for the ultimate bridal dress shopping experience.

The best wedding dress shopping experience! The boutique is absolutely a dream; a warm, welcoming space with tons of bridal pieces, not just dresses. The ladies at Blush & Raven were able to get me in last minute and when I showed up by myself, they became my friends/family to help me pick something. They were so sweet and helpful, pulled a great selection within my parameters and I found the perfect dress! Their knowledge of their products and designers was amazing. I instantly felt comfortable and at home. I recommend Blush & Raven to every bride, it will absolutely be worth your while!

Of all the wedding planning experiences I've had so far... My time at Blush & Raven has been hand's down my favorite! The staff was so incredibly kind and welcoming, and the space is absolutely stunning! It took me a couple tries to find my dress and with that some nerves and doubt started to creep in but Kat was a blessing from the moment I entered Blush & Raven! She took the time to get to know me and my vision and with her insane knowledge of the designers and dresses, pulled dress after dress that couldn't have been more perfect! I honeslty wish I could do it all again <3 I have nothing but amazing things to say about Kat and this boutique!

I recently got married in October 2022 and purchased both my ceremony and reception gown from Blush & Raven. I have referred my own brides as a wedding planner to B&R and they have had amazing experiences and purchased such gorgeous gowns. Sara and Liane went above and beyond to bring in a specific dress by Monique Lhuillier that I have loved since New York Bridal Fashion week in 2021. They scheduled my appointment during the Monique trunk show along with shipping in the Dahlia dress separately so I'd have the opportunity to try a few ballgowns on alongside my dream dress. I knew Dahlia was the one the moment I put it on. Liane pulled the Newhite Onda dress as an option for my reception dress and it was perfect (and not what I was expecting to love!). They suggested an amazing alternationist (Maisoon) who was able to alter both gowns to fit perfectly. They ensured my gowns would arrive on time by recommending when I should book my initial appointments and I was quick to purchase both that day! I opted for a buy out of the space for my appointment so I could bring all my girls, which I would highly recommend! I loved both of my gowns so much and could not be more grateful for the Blush & Raven team for making the dress decision process so special. 10/10 recommend!
