These guys are great with my dogs, they love going here and it's such an easy process to pick up and drop off! Love the little report card system after our stays.

My dog was there for a week and he came home so well mannered. I saw videos of him playing while I was away so I knew he was happy and being cared for. He's tired from a week of vacation just like the rest of us. Thank you to Bowdog!

I will forever recommend BowDog to anyone looking for a safe and fun place to take their dogs. The staff here do a terrific job at ensuring your dog is well taken care of and loved. My little guy Carlos was always very shy being around other dogs but since taking him to BowDog he has much better socialization around other dogs now. He gets so excited when I drop him off!The staff here are wonderful and treat both you and your animals with the utmost respect and compassion. Thank you to everyone at BowDog!

My dog comes for daycare occasionally and has gone once for boarding. So far everything has been great. No complaints at all. Plus it is very easy to book with them even with not much advanced notice.

We bring our cat here every once in a while and have not had any issues.

I have let enough time pass by before I could post my review about this shop. I’ve had 4 dogs in my long lifespan covering a total of 35 years. I can frankly say, this place should be avoided by all dog owners. They do not care about your pet, just about collecting the fees for keeping your pet caged in, uncared for and unfed for the duration of time it’s left at this place. I can say with certainty, this place is responsible for leaving my beloved frenchie terminally sick. In his memory, I post this review and warn all Calgary pet owners of this shop. Beware.

My little yorkie has been going there since she was 5 months old. Bowdog has been so wonderful with her. She absolutely loves it, they know her and as she progresses the staff are so excited for her. It's so sweet how much they care about the pups. They see so many pets each week and it amazes me how they know all of the dogs names and who their owners are.Their grooming is a 100/10. It was my puppy's first time getting groomed and she was not an easy client (that's an understatement). They aimed to make it a positive experience by not pushing her too far out of her comfort zone, while still doing as much as they could to clean her up. They worked with her to get her more and more comfortable with grooming. Every time she's been to daycare they bring her back to the grooming room for 5-10 minutes at a time to just expose her and get her used to the tools, sounds, and environment.She's drastically improved since her first grooming. I'm so grateful for their patience with her. They do beautiful work, teddy bear cuts are always so hit and miss with groomers. Not here though. She comes out looking so cute!

I went in after I passed my over the phone interview, to complete a buddy shift. The daycare staff were questionable and same with the manager training me (Breanne). One guy working with the dogs in daycare, towers over the dogs, yells at them and intimates the dogs...which the manager did not correct him for or seem to care. The staff including the manager training me that day, would point their fingers in the dogs faces as well as tap the dogs on their noses, to correct their behavior. I asked the manager if staff are allowed to do that to the dogs and she seemed un bothered and responded casually - yes but not hard". I also asked her if the staff receive any professional training regards to dog behavior and she said no

I have debated leaving this review, but thought other dog owners might like to hear it.My husband and I have a GSP that we have taken to BowDog on and off for the last 8 years. Great experiences for the majority of his visits there. He had stayed for both day care and rare overnight visits.We brought Clutch to day care 3 times in April of 2022. The first time, I had brought him, and the second and third, a friend had taken him, as we were out of town. On the evenings he was brought home, on all three of these separate occasions, if anyone moved quickly around him, or tried to give him a treat, he would cower and try to find a place to hide. This is not behavior that he has ever displayed, or displayed since. As this was very unusual and distressing behavior, I called BowDog. The woman sounded concerned, took all of my information, and ensured she would talk to the staff and investigate. She assured me she would call me back to let me know what, if anything was discovered about his recent visits. I never heard back from them, and do not feel comfortable bringing him there again.

Bowdog has been taking care of our pups for years , sometimes lodging , sometimes just daycare for a day of fun. I feel like they really care about the animals. It’s nice to read the report card after a lodging stay. One of our dogs is high energy and they seem to know how to balance her time in the pack , and time away from the pack to cool down. It would be nice to get some feedback after daycare , but maybe that’s in the works.
