Had standing rigging changed and a few other items changed/fixed. Charged us a huge amount over a verbal quote, even though we did some of the work ourselves (marking position on turnbuckles, unhooking the boom and other items as requested, reseating/caulking the mast collar and the chain plates, etc. We understand that prices of some of the prices of items had changed due to supply issues.We should have checked prices as things progressed, to confirm pricing as discussed but we trusted that the quote was fairly accurate and expected just a few extra costs. They never provided a running total to show us what the cost currently was and how optional items would affect total bill.It took two weeks after the service to get the bill. I don’t believe they took into consideration the work that we did (and charged us as if they did absolutely everything). Very disappointed. Staff are great but confirm prices as you go so no nasty surprises.

You would be hard pressed to find a better service in fabricating amazing, top quality rigging from anyone other than Stu and the Pro-tech Yacht Services Team.Our mast and rigging have been saved by their fine work in an impressively timely fashion on more than one occasion.Thank-you, Thank-you!

I contracted Pro-Tech in April 2020 to replace all the life lines on my Hunter 41 DS, as well as install netting and a new stern tie roll.I can absolutely recommend them as a very high quality shop, with excellent customer service and workmanship.Simon was very experienced, professional, and courteous.
