Thickest and juiciest pollock I've ever had, frankly it felt a bit weird being so juicy. Excellent coleslaw.

A good little place for some classic fish and chips. My wife and I shared the captain's feast which was very good. I was expecting the chips to be more in the classic British style instead of a fries style. The fries were still good thought. The fish has a thick batter which isn't my personal favorite though some prefer it. The service was very quick and the price very reasonable.

Hands down the best fish & chips I’ve had. The halibut portions were perfect and the fish was cooked exceptionally. I will definitely order again.

Delicious, good portions, good prices. The only negative thing I can say is they don’t have homemade tartar sauce, which can be a deal breaker for some people. I go during lent and it gets very busy.

The place is a gem! We discovered it while living in Caledonia, but have since moved, and we still travel in to experience the best!!The lady owner is so pleasant and kind over the phone and in person, and cooks up fish and shrimp perfection! The shrimp are the big good size shrimps, not little. Their prices are good and fair.This place is CONSISTANTLY so good...it is worth the drive to know you will be happy with your food!Alana & Charles

We went to see some puppies for adoption in Caledonia and stopped here for lunch. One of the best fish n chips I’ve had in a while! There wasn’t an inch of batter that was soggy! Perfectly crispy and soft flaky fish inside. Fish n chips is one of my favourites and I’m so glad to find this place. I would make this 2 hour drive from Mississauga just to have this!

I decided to try this place today and I am so glad I did! The food is fantastic and the young girl st counter is great. Myself and another customer chatted while we waited for our orders. I will definitely be back!

I'm still new to Caledonia but I tried JVK right away and now i'm a regular. Great portions, Great prices and Great service. Everyone here has been extremely friendly to the point that I look forward to more than the food. Cooked fresh while you wait so it'll always be hot.

First time eating here and the food great! Two piece Halibut and fries. The batter was nice and crispy and the fish were two niece thick pieces.Also the poutine was delicious and the staff were really friendly too. Must have!
