Great place for bikes and the people there are quite helpful. Dropped a bike off to be fixed and they looked it over and gave their honest opinion and told me to return the bike to Amazon where I bought it and didn't charge me anything when I came to pick it up. Will be back to purchase a real bike.

Mark and team were able to diagnose and resolve some shifting issues with my road bike (they were able to find the root cause - shady work done by another bike shop in york region..)Nonetheless, through some extra work and internal routing they fixed the shifting issues and are my Local Bike Shop of choice!

Great and friendly service! Ordered my bike beginning of June and was told it'll be coming sometime in August. In early July got a call that my bike is ready for pick up! Pleasant surprise as I can start biking on my new bike early and not wasting any of the beautiful Summer!! Lots of good bikes in stock (at the time I picked up mine last week).

Super helpful staff. I needed a small $20 part which was obviously a tiny sale for the shop but it was a big deal for me. I called in and they took the time to track down the part and hold onto it for me. I had a great conversation with the sales staff and ended up buying a bunch of other things. I highly recommend shopping here!

Super uncomfortable experience during my most recent visit here. Walked in and no other customers were inside. I was greeted immediately, no smile, and was asked if I was looking for anything specific. I replied no and that I would like to browse. The associate watched and followed me to every section of the store I walked to. I looked at a few items and picked it up, etc. but couldn’t shake the feeling of being watched as if they suspected I would shoplift their merchandise. Moments later, another associate came by and they both just stood there behind me in silence. I’ve been to Bike Asylum numerous times both during the summer and downtime season in the wintertime and the customer service here has never stood out to me but after today, I just have no words. I never feel welcomed here unless I’m shopping their big ticket items.

I brought my bike in to get it fixed. They told me it was too old and when I told them I just wanted it tuned up and replacement of gear shifters on the handlebars. They said to me that the bike wasn’t worth it and tried to sell me a new bike. Very disappointing found another bike shop in Newmarket. They were the absolute best bike shop I’ve ever been to and they took care of it for me. For half the price.. They want to sell you a new bike and not fix your old bike .
