Very convenient location, I love that the park is not far! Their burgers are very fresh and tasty, ice cream was very delicious. The empanadas are to die for, very crispy with a bit of the chipotle sauce is heaven!

This place has gone downhill. I have literally tried and gave it a great effort. When John owned it, it was great. Now the new owners take no pride in it and poor customer service. I’ve messaged them about how it does not taste good and just poor service. The burger is basically no name Walmart, the fries are McCain it seems. The poutine gravy is like someone dumped an entire salt shaker on it. They take forever to give the order back and ice cream is melted by the time you get it. While I was waiting someone also waited 25 minutes and the order was wrong. Don’t go here. No longer a great place for food.

I wonder if this is under new ownership. Had a few delicious burgers last summer and it always seemed busy. Today I went and there was not a single other person there. Wasn’t noticed for quite a while at the window. Burger was not really browned and crispy like you’d expect in a smash burger. The food packaging was only wax paper shoved into a little paper bag…last year it was nice clamshell boxes that you could actually eat in your car or in the park.

We stopped here on our way back to Alberta. Food was delicious and fresh. Staff was friendly and it was fairly priced. Nice to go be able to sit over at the park and enjoy it! We would for sure come back.

Visited this afternoon, staff is very friendly, food is very delicious. The burgers are flavourful and juicy, the fries are nice and crispy. The place is really beautiful and is perfect as you can pick up your food and go to the park!

Showed up today at 1145am (friday June 3rd). Window open, staff member at window. Took a few minutes to look at the menu, then go to order. She tells me that they are closed and closes the window. Sign says open at 11 (no sign saying they are closed). Online says 11-8. I call and ask what their hours are (since she was quick to close the window). She says 11-8. Then says they are closed right now. I ask when they are opening. She says they are on holiday hours. I ask what that means and when are they opening. She says they are closed all day. Not sure why she was working the window when I got there but decided to close once I wanted to order. (And waited until then to tell me they were closed). Disappointed to say the least.

First time I ate here was great - had the Burger and the patty had a nice flavour, meat was melty and got lots of fries. I wanted to come back and try their chicken fingers.Second time didn't go as well - I tried to get clarification on price because the total I was given initially didn't match the menu and I wasn't sure if the chicken strip basket included a drink or not. I was left confused and felt bad about the interaction. Got a lot of fries again - but the chicken fingers did not seem homemade but bulk bought instead of nicely homemade fresh.Would recommend the Burgers but not the chicken strips. And I wish I had a more positive ordering experience.
