Vanilla Loft
Vanilla Loft is an amazing Salon! The staff are always welcoming and it is impeccably clean. Ana does beautiful colour, its obvious from her skills that she's had the opportunity to train directly under co-founder Chris Weber Mirlach. I have been seeing Ana and Chris for almost a year now and I won't be going anywhere else. Not only is their quality of work flawless, they're great at recommending the perfect products to keep your hair looking beautiful out of the salon. The service is above and beyond!

I have been seeing Chris for years now and there is literally no one else I'd trust with my hair! He is beyond talented and is a true artist, but he also puts hair health and communication first to make sure that your hair is in its most healthy, incredible condition and that you can work together to create your dream look. I always feel confident about and love my hair thanks to Chris' amazing work and love love love coming into the gorgeous Vanilla Loft space to visit him! Can not recommend him enough and would highly suggest getting on his booking list or to book in with one of at Vanilla Loft's other incredible stylists - he's one of the most in-demand stylists in Canada for a reason (it's not unusual for someone to fly in specifically to see him from out of town)! Again, can't recommend him and Vanilla Loft enough - the best in the city :)

Pure perfection! My experience with Chris at Vanilla loft was absolutely amazing! The space is so incredibly beautiful while still feeling very comfortable. All of the staff are so friendly and welcoming, which I don't always expect from a high-end salon. I received a top quality service while enjoying a relaxing and friendly fun atmosphere. I noticed the demeanor of the other clients right away as well, and the energy was so positive and peaceful. It was so nice to relax while Chris focused in on his work (a true artist), and I still got to enjoy his kind and fun energy while my colour was processing. Thank you Vanilla loft team for making me feel so special! I look forward to coming in for my appointments and even though I will want to stay longer, I know that I will always leave so very happy. :)

I don’t know where to start! I love this salon! It’s peaceful & beautiful. I have never felt so calm while I am getting my hair done. I really like that they have a no kids policy! My artist & friend Chris is a true talent. He specializes in blondes, pastels & lived in colours. It’s the best blonde salon in Vancouver. All the artists are incredible. I also love that there pricing is all gender neutral! The vibe at vanilla loft is very inspiring & warm. The team gets booked up very fast so make sure to book your appointment a few weeks in advance. I love you guys!!! So much!!!

I have been going to Vanilla Loft since it opened and I will not go anywhere else! All of the artists are so talented and the space is so welcoming - everybody is friendly and genuine. I used to put my hair in a ponytail all the time because I hated how brassy and frizzy it was but since I've been seeing Chris I am OBSESSED with my hair and really flaunt it around. He gives me a gorgeous bright blonde that looks natural and feels surprisingly healthy and a cut that I don't have to heat style, it just falls around my face. LOVE my hair and LOVE the Loft.

I don't even know where to begin - but WOW!Got some highlights and face-framing done by Ana and I was stunned by the result. My hair definitely looked different, but it still looked like it had a natural sun-kissed" vibe and it was still HEALTHY! The entire space is absolutely gorgeous (and super clean and sparkly) which was very inviting and comfortable to be in. The entire team were so genuine and nice as well! This is definitely one of the places to checkout in Van for hair. I'll be back for all of my hair needs in the future! Thank you!! :)"

Vanilla Loft
Vanilla Loft is one of my favourite places to spend a Sunday! The salon is kept very clean and the owners have added cozy accents to make it feel more like a home. It is a very relaxing and enjoyable environment. All of the staff have been highly trained in their craft, using the newest techniques to create beautiful long term healthy hair. They are honest, respectful, accommodating and professional. I would highly recommend this salon and all services that are offered!

Getting your hair done at Vanilla Loft is an incredible experience. The salon is gorgeously decorated, very clean, and gives you a wonderful feeling of being extra pampered. I visited them last year when they still had a few other hairstylists working there, and I left with the best haircut I had ever received. I also really enjoy buying hair products from Vanilla Loft online. A beautiful package arrives with a personalized handwritten note, amazing hair products, and some samples. While I am on a waitlist to have my hair done by Chris, I'll definitely continue to use them for all my haircare needs!

Becky (Rebecca) has been doing my hair for 6 years now, and I couldn’t be happier with the job she does. She is an absolute sweetheart, and always makes me feel and look beautiful. So happy to see her at Vanilla Loft now; what a perfect space!!
