I did wax for body hair and when I returned home, I noticed bruises on my arm! I don’t think she knows how to do the job

My eldest daughter introduced me to this place a few years back. Today I had my summer pedicure done with French manicure, Right after the tools she used were put into a disinfecting machine. Rose is always accommodating to what you want. I know I AM a very particular client & I am always very pleased with anything that is done here. They have updated the salon & it is clean & a great atmosphere. I will be back for a full set of French manicure nails next week. No other place gives the service that they give here. My feet are happy feet today, and service is outstanding.

I don’t want to blame the whole place because the guy employee were really nice and seemed to do a good job. Unfortunately the girl whom did my pedicure was disrespectful and agressive (for no reason), i still can’t believe what had happened. I did not say anything and was pretty shocked by her behaviour, as the other clients in the place at that moment were too. I had nail polish on my skin and felt like I was disturbing, she also said few times « I don’t have time » but she is the one that wanted to do it now as I came at first to take an appointment for the day after.They are other few places on Wellington that are a way better and friendly!

The staff is friendly and the service is great. My rating however is in regards to some major cleanliness red flags;- files are reused and shared between clients. Files are normally single use.- tools are not autoclaved or freshly disinfected before use.- technicians go from handling the phone, the cash to your hands without washing their hands or putting on gloves.I hope they can get back on track regarding hygiene as they have earned a good reputation. They do great nails!! I’d hate to see this place shut down.

They won’t tell you they don’t have the right skills to achieve a certain design, but will refuse to fix it or do another design to replace the very smudgy and messy work they did.Edit: an hour later, the color ended up full of stripes and spots, and the matte coat has some shiny stripes. I am extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with this experience.Edit #2: after two days, I had to go to another salon to have the nails fixed. They were just really bad at that point. The other salon not only fixed the shape, thickness and overall quality/look of the acrylics, they managed to easily achieve what I initially wanted (what the person at the first salon could not do even though they said they could). They worked hard but fixed this whole mess.

Very poor service and skills. Hard time communicating. Took 2 1/2 hours to have my nails done and to be told that I couldn't get the initial result I asked for. The cutting and coloring was not properly done at the end. It was a very long and disappointing day

This place is so so dirty and unsanitary and they have a really sad, dirty fish tank where the poor fish look like they're struggling/dying. My manicure took 2 hours and it looked awful. I'll never ever be back here.
