A good place to have lunch at First Canadian Place. They have many choices for salads, wraps, and sandwiches, along with a daily roast (almost like a thanksgiving dinner, image below). You can also customize your sandwich or create your own salad from the salad bar. Service is always quick and efficient.

Asked to fill the whole bowl with Caesar salad. The salad contained in total 1 crouton and 1 cherry tomato sliced in half. The rest was filled with greens. So I basically ate a bowl filled with greens instead of an actual salad. There was something uncomfortably crunchy, like sand or dirt in the salad.

Conflicted. Fresh food at your typical downtown Toronto price-point, with bare minimum satisfactory service, if that.

I grab the breakfast here on occasion. The premade English muffin sandwiches are a good bang for your buck in the downtown core; however, the lunch throws me off in terms of quality....specifically the famous" schnitzel sandwich....with the word "famous" thrown into the name

Today it was my first experience buying a salad at First Canadian Place, I have invited my friend to introduce her Pampernickels, we were ordering 2 small salads because we were not hungry, we had some food before, they said that I can choose only 2 options for the small salad size, I said ok and I asked to add just 2 small pieces of the beets, lady said no! She said I have to buy a full size salad then, just for 2 pieces of beets? Just to understand their weigh is up to 10 grams. The lady who was serving us flipped that small salad to the big bowl added those 2 beats and starting to add more salads, which I don’t needed, I asked her to stop!!! and to not put food I can’t finish, I don’t want to waisted it, but she still added some, and charged us $24,75 for 2 very small salads.I’m not going to this location again the stuff is not friendly!!! Angry people should not work at the food industry!!! and it was bad experience for my friend as well.

This place is so expensive, just to get a simple cheese sandwich with a little bit of lettuce, you would assume that a cheese sandwich would automatically come with 2 slices of cheese but it only comes with one so if you want a second slice of cheese they charge you $2.00 for that extra slice of cheddar cheese...servers are ok but it depends who you get, the cashier was nice though.. buh bye pumpernickel, you just lost a customer

I usually get the salad option here but my office mate has gotten the sandwiches (bbq chicken and schnitzel) with fries and we are both consistently happy with the taste and level of quality in the ingredients used. They also have daily specials for breakfast and lunch, which is nice as prices have increased as of late. Service is, well, what you'd expect for a super busy downtown food court, although there are some staff members who go above and beyond. A great place to get a healthy (kale ceasar, mixed spinach, spiced chickpea, beet salads) or not so healthy (chicken schnitzel or reuben sandwich and fries) lunch option that you will probably become addicted to.

Food is good but expensive, the customer service is awful, first they gave us the wrong food and charged us more for that! Then they gave us the right food but didn't gave back the money. The staff is so rude and it seems that they don't wanna work there. Someone who likes their job doesn't behave like that! I also read some pervious review and it seems the manager don't really care! Cause some of the bad review about the staff was for more than a year! So this review is just for those who wanna go there and eat! Don't go to this branch!!
