Alisha was AMAZING!It was only 4 month between our engagements to the big day. We knew we needed professional help if we are going to make it work.My wife and I retained Alisha to do full wedding planning for us. We knew she was the perfect fit when she busted out a 150-line checklist and a full stack of excel sheets. It may sound daunting, but it certainly speaks for her level of organization. And don’t worry, she took care of most of the paperwork :)She was super patient and took us visiting multiple venues often on evening and weekends. Super responsible with speedy email replies and never complained about our “harassment” calls in late evenings and always accommodated our last minute requests.Alisha was a great communicator as well, she was able to grasp our vision and communicate effectively to the vendors. Everything turned out more perfectly than we even imagined. Alisha was also great at helping us saving money. Through her extensive network in the wedding industry, we found the best vendors for the job at reasonable prices, not to mention some nifty tricks she taught us that made our dollar stretch the extra mile.And if you want a stress free wedding day, Alisha is your girl! She organized the timetable effectively, coordinated with all the vendors, does all the communication/negotiations behind the scene, guided our guests and she took care of issues before we even recognize it existed. She has great control over the flow of the event and handled even the small details beautifully. It was truly stress free to the point that I had nothing to do as the groom other than enjoying myself.Highly recommended!

Alisha and her team at Events by Whim played a huge part in making our wedding experience an amazing one! We originally contacted Alisha’s team for our wedding design in 2019 for our wedding in 2020. When the pandemic happened, we had to move our date and her team was so accommodating in moving dates and stayed in touch with us throughout the pandemic, unfortunately, this is not the experience we had with some of our other vendors. We had a vision of what we wanted our decor and day to look like and Alisha brought it to life and also added elements to enhance the day, that even we had not thought of. Her team went above and beyond what we expected for both design and decor as well as month-of coordination. They are true professionals in what they do, highly organized and extremely detailed. We were assigned Nirvanie as our event coordinator and were blown away by her professionalism, promptness, attention to detail and going out of her way to ensure our needs were met leading up to and the day of our wedding. Trying to plan a wedding is difficult and stressful enough, but with the added complexity of trying to do so during a pandemic can be a lot, however, with this team we found this process to be absolutely seamless. We are incredibly grateful for all the work they did to make our special day come together as beautiful as it did. You will not regret hiring this team to plan and design your big day. Alisha was so helpful; at the beginning of our planning process, she took the time to carefully explain to us many details about wedding planning that we were unsure of. She helped us design our wedding, from choosing a colour palette to deciding on what florals would look like. She is friendly, professional, and passionate about what she does! My wife and I have been working with Alisha on our wedding for about two years now. We just had our big day three weeks prior to writing this. When we first started the planning stages it seemed like we would never possibly make it to this date, but Alisha ensured us that we would. Month by month she kept us on track and helped us flag certain issues while also keeping an optimistic can do" attitude. Alisha helped us a lot in making sense of vendor contracts and surely without her intermediating we would never have been able to lock in the right venue. She worked very closely with us on the aesthetic and design of the wedding. She never told us something was impossible

We recently got married in August 2022 and used Events by Whim to help us coordinate our special day at the Arlington Estate. Alisha and Nirvanie were extremely helpful throughout our planning process. We are so thankful for them and all that they did to make our wedding day a huge success. I recently celebrated my two year long wedding that went through a lot of changes during the pandemic. Alisha was my head planner for the partial planning package I chose, and made it all so seamless. I knew Michelle from RSVP by Whim from before, and she told me Alisha is the best person to work with for my wedding. We instantly hit it off, and she understood my vision and expectations. She moved during the pandemic across the country, but never left me hanging, and even flew in for my reception to see it all come to life. She is assertive and will handle the messy calls/emails that you don't want to deal with, handle all the logistics, including when all the glass from your table tops get broken upon delivery by a vendor and she gets a replacement sent in time. Their costs are very reasonable, you get a response right away, and they understand different cultural and religious expectations. Please reach out to them for your events!

My husband and I had the best experience with Alisha from Whim. Alisha was our month/day-of co-ordinator and a life saver! She made sure everything ran smoothly, dealt with all of our last minute details, co-ordinated with all of the vendors, the list goes on. She reduced stress levels by an enormous amount, especially because I was planning a wedding from abroad. Alisha is not only wonderful at what she does, she is also a wonderful person and a pleasure to work with. If anyone needs an event manager I would highly recommend Whim.
