Hands down, this spot is the best Middle Eastern food in York Region! Flavour, texture and doneness is ALWAYS consistent and delicious! For years, they never fail. It’s one of the only places I can eat where the quality and taste remains up to par—never disappointed.I also appreciate that their kabob dinner (my go-to order) always still comes with salad and a pita with dipping sauces. This value is especially appreciated, especially with recent factors like inflation and other economic changes since COVID—many other restaurants have downgraded their so-called “combos”. But Meron continues to please and stays true to their classics!The meat is so succulent and tasty. Their tahini is divine. Their salad dressing is so good, it makes you want to sneak into their kitchen and steal the recipe!Absolutely, absolutely, LOVE this place!

Great local spot for Middle Eastern food. Their Shawerma, Kafta, and hummus are excellent! Their portions are generous and the sides are excellent.

Introduced and shown to me by someone close in 2022 and I decided to come back. This Mediterranean place is really good and they pack Chicken Shawarma pita with a lot of meat. I usually grab this with some of there special sodas. I would recommend anybody near the Thornhill area to give this place a try.

My friend brought me to this place about 3 years ago. The food there was so tasty that I kept thinking about it for a while.One day I came back to this place again but the restaurant was closed and under construction. I was very upset because I thought that they closed for good.Now 3 years later I decided to try my luck to find this place again in case if they moved somewhere else. I found them in the same building though lol. I guess they just had renovation back then. I was so happy! I ordered food from there 5 times in a row for the past week. I can eat this food every day and not get bored, because it is so fresh and flavourful.Love this place! RECOMMEND!

Came here for the first time today. We ordered a beef shish kebab dinner and a chicken breast kebab dinner. Both the chicken and beef were perfectly done. Unfortunately, the dinner came with white rice and had no sauce to go with it. So the entire dish as a whole tasted kind of bland.Prices are fair for what you get.

April 2021: a clean restaurant offering some good food. Had the shawarma pita. Great portions of both meat and veggies. The veggies were amazing. The added crunch of the coleslaw is awesome. Excellent taste. The staff is nice and friendly. Would definitely come again.

Meron has been a Thornhill staple for many years now, and even after having tried several other Middle Eastern restaurants around the city, I always come back here when I want the best, most flavourful, representations of the dishes they serve. Their meats, such as the chicken skewers, are cooked and seasoned to absolute perfection. The falafel, quite easily the best I've had anywhere- absolutely perfect. The shawarma, absolutely tantalizing. There is not one thing on the menu here I wouldn't wholeheartedly recommend to my closest friends and family- it's all a 10/10, starting even with their salad with house dressing, which is the best I've had anywhere. Freshness and quality of ingredients is quite evidently a top priority for this establishment, and it really shines through in the final product. I'm salivating just thinking about Meron now- good thing I live just minutes away!

Great quality restaurant with friendly service! We ordered the falafel on hummus, schnitzel plate and the dark chicken wrap (not pictured) and they were all amazing!! The dark meat chicken was so juicy and tender mixed with the variety of toppings.
