Favourite place for Cantonese food - especially their dim sum, wonton noodle soup and HK-style lemon tea! Reminds me of Hong Kong. Very clean and simple dining room too.

Yesterday, I had a chicken chow mein for takeout. It was dry and flavorless. Both the chow mein and chicken tasted like they had been around for a long time.I would have sent it my review yesterday but I ended up having diarrhea all night. I did have a bad feeling when I was eating the chow mein (didn't finish). I should have followed my instinct and just chuck it out in the compost bin. What a terrible experience. I truly don't recommend this place.

Decided to come here and order take out the other day. Ordered the Spicy Beef Brisket Lo Mein and are at home.Small dining space. Ambiance is okay. But due to the pandemic. Obviously there was nobody there. Glad they were open as not many other restaurants are these days and if they are, very short hours during the day. I came here because they were the only restaurant open within a short walking distance. The food is decent. It's not hard to make. So the order was quick. They staff are friendly and respectful. The portion is decent generously surprisingly. The noodles were cooked well. And the taste and flavor was quite good. There's not a lot of Hon's franchises around anymore. The only one that I can think of in Vancouver is the one in Chinatown. The food is decent. If you want Chinese food that's quick on the go. You can definitely come here and order out to eat at the comforts and safety of your home. The prices are relatively decent for what you're getting portion wise.Be sure to tip generously during this challenging season! Support our local businesses!! We need each other during this time of the pandemic. Let's get through it together by supporting our local businesses as much as we are able to.Give Hon's a try! :)

Absolutely love the food!! It's a must try! Flavors are on point and freshly prepared. The take out is delivered separately so you can mix it fresh at home. Always a pleasure!

Haven't tried Hon's in ages. It definitely hit the spot and brought back old school memories of a noodle joint.Ordered take out, and it took about 10 minutes to get everything together. Ordered 7 items. The kitchen is open so you can see the noodle process.Noodles nice and springy. The fried dumpling was low key really good. Would go back and get that again. This place really focused on the items on the menu so it's definitely more of a I feel like wonton noodles and a few other things" versus I'm looking for 100 different options for lunch.Parking - street metered parking. If you drive around and don't mind walking

Super delicious place to get a hot bowl of noodles on a chilly day. The lunch rush was busy and while we didn't wait for a table the restaurant was almost full the entire time we sat in for lunch.I highly recommend getting the beef brisket as the chunks are deliciously tender in the soup. The wontons are tasty and I recommend getting a side of the spicy ones of you like a bit of heat. The black sesame buns are warm and fluffy buns with a sweet smooth nutty filling. A tasty way to end the meal

Quality of food was horrible. Pork was dry and flavourless. Noodles also didn’t taste good and hardly had any sauce on it.

The best wontons ever! So good on a cloudy and rainy day, the wonton noodle soup just hits the spot. We’ve been ordering from this shop for months now and they never disappoint. I personally love and always get the deep fried pork dumplings and my husband love the custard lava buns

I'm struggling to understand why this joint has such a low rating. I agree that there's nothing spectacular about what they offer, yet the food they serve is very decent and for a reasonable price, especially taking into account the area. I like that the menu is minimal but covers all the essential Cantonese dishes. Service is absolutely amazing, and the joint itself is very clean and neat. Maybe I'm not that picky, but I think this place deserves solid four stars.
