Metro Body Shop

I have taken my car to Karel and his Metro Body Shop for a variety of body work for at least twenty years. The quality of the work is always top notch, his prices are probably the lowest you'll find and he is as honest as they come. It is a pleasure to know and deal with Karel and I highly recommend his business. You won't go wrong taking your car to him.

I slighted bumped my car to a pole beside the payment meter when I exited the underground garage door and hit the right rear door a bit. I went to two different dealers' auto shops and were quoted as $5800 and $4900, both would take 7 days to repair. Referred by AMS Auto Center, I went to Metro Body Shop. The owner Carl greeted me very politely and told me it would cost less than $600 and take two days. Although I firmly believed that $5000 or more from the dealers is totally nonsense, initially I was a little suspicious about the low price Carl gave to me. I called back to Carl to ask how he would repair my car. He told me do not worry and you are in good hand!". After one and half a day

Best body shop in the city! Karl is so kind and he goes above and beyond with the quality of his service! Truly treats his customers like family. I always recommend his shop to anyone who needs to have work done on their car.

I visited Metro Body Shop for a quote to repair my mother's car as she had hit a deer. The original owner has sold the business but I was very pleased to meet the new owner and obtain a quote- Jad was polite & professional. I received the quote while I waited and the pricing is fair and reasonable. Now just have to deal with her insurance.

Karel is very honest, reliable, professional and easy to communicate. And the work is AMAZING!!! I can’t expect more than that. Love it and will definitely recommend to everyone!!!

I scrapped my front bumper and went to an dealer auto body shop where I was quoted at $1150 and was told they needed at least 2 weeks to repair. I went to Metro body shop where I was greeted by Carl who was very kind, promised a fair price and completed the work in a very timely fashion. Not only did Carl and his team do an amazing job on the repair, they were very honest and were able to complete the job for under the price of the original estimate. Not only that, but Carl went out of his way to drive me back to work when I dropped off my car for repair. Would highly recommend Metro Body shop to all family and friends! Thanks Carl!!!

With 4 drivers in my family, there has been a lot of need for repairs and I always go to Metro. I have never been unhappy with any of the work, the price and the time it takes to complete the jobs. Carl's advice is priceless - one time he warned me that the insurance company would want to write the vehicle off based on its age, and the car had lots of life in it (which it had) for a relatively minor repair bill. And another time, he said the opposite as the car could never be properly fixed and would forever have problems (fortunately, the insurance did write this off as well). All in all, I am one happy customer (now if I could get my kids to driver better)

I had a very positive experience with Karel and his team at Metro. Great work for rust repair, fair pricing and good communication. I would recommend to anyone and will go back if I need other work done.

This was a good body shop before Karel retired. And it’s still great. I’ve used them twice since (latest today) and find them very customer-minded.
