Om Hot Yoga

The best place for yoga in Edmonton — I've been attending classes here since 2017 (with a hiatus during the pandemic, and feeling so good to be back) and no other studio matches the inclusive vibe and community.

One week ago there was a robbery at the studio where a number of clients lost credit cards, cell phones and other personal items. The studio did not inform any clients about this incident nor have they changed their practice at the studio. I do not think this is fair to other people that may attend this studio to know that your items may not be secure in their change rooms and that they are not diligent about class attendance counts or securing the facility while class is in session.

Yoga studio that is welcoming, fun, and with great instructors. Its become my safe place to find calm.

I've been going to Om, and the owner's other studios, for over a decade now and have never had a bad experience. This locally owned studio has a warm, welcoming atmosphere and has always made inclusivity paramount. I've tried many studios around town and none of them compare to Om.I personally love the dynamic flow classes. And if you get a chance, check out some of their specialty workshops when they pop up!

I have been going here off and on for several years. The owner and instructors really make this place what it is. They have some unique classes to try and are very inclusive, and supportive of the community. I was really impressed that they jumped to move online and they did it right! They have been hosting their classes online since March, with a brief stint of combo online/in studio when it was allowed. I thought this was really smart and great for accommodating the smaller class sizes, and different comfort levels of attendees.

This studio seem to be very consistent with wonderful classes, warm and friendly instructors, and a clean/well maintained space. I paid for the 10 day unlimited pass while visiting from out of town - I couldn’t pick a class I enjoyed most because each was fantastic in its own way.

Unfortunately I had a negative experience twice at this studio. The guy teaching the class singled me out and pointed out my bad form infront of the whole class on two separate occasions. I'm obviously new to this and I don't mind receiving feedback but no one else that was beginning out got singled out the way I did. It was embarrassing and discouraged me from going back.

I attended a workshop recently, my first time at this studio, was very impressed at the warm, friendly and safe environment created by Jason. Learning to Fly can be intimidating and challenging, and Jason made it fun, approachable and has provided me with confidence and knowledge to continue to grow my practice. Thank you!
