Hugs in a Mug Coffee Bistro
I work at the gym around the corner, and live in the area, and I love how homey and good the products are. The staff is fantastic, and you can reserve a table which is great if you wanna go with friends for more of a sit down lunch. They even serve you! Way better service than a place like Starbucks, 10/10 recommend

I really like the atmosphere of the place but the food sizes are tiny now. Me and my friend took a break from work and came here to have a small lunch/snack. For her, she ordered the soup. Was it good ? It was delicious. But we saw right away the soup bowl was half the size. I ordered a scone edited ( previously croissant) ) but it was sooo tiny. In fact, when going to cut it in half, it fell apart because it was so small. When we asked a male server who took our plates, he said it was because people were not eating everything so their was waste of food. All I know is we ate everything. I still give the place 4 stars because of the food and the environment. Just will be more careful on what I order next time.

Such a cute little place! The owners were very friendly. Had the breakfast wrap one morning and had to go back the next day for another one, it was really good! Good iced lattes and iced chai. Cheesecake was also nice.

My favourite coffee shop in Abbotsford. Love the quiet atmosphere, the soft music, the cleanliness, the their amazing sandwiches. The staff so very friendly and always on top of things. It means so much to me to find a place that I can go to for online work/school and for hangout with friends. Thank you and keep it up!

This cute coffee shop is becoming one of our favourite places to grab lunch. We were impressed with the menu variety. Portion sizes are decent in comparison to price especially when you compare other corporate coffee places.

The best coffee shop! The most delicious food. Great coffee. Super kind people. One of my favourite places to be!Was drawn to it a couple years ago because of the super cute name and did not disappoint! Am I ever glad I found this place!

One of my favourite cafes in Abbotsford. All their drinks and food are delicious but I must say my favourite are the bagel breakfast sandwiches!! The staff are always very friendly too.

Hugs in a Mug Coffee Bistro
I've been to Hug in a Mug several times and I really enjoy the cozy atmosphere and delicious food. However, I was disappointed to witness the owner/boss insulting staff members in front of me. It made me feel uncomfortable and I couldn't help but notice that the staff seemed much happier and more at ease when the owner was not present. While I still enjoy the food and ambiance, I hope that the management can work towards creating a more positive and respectful workplace culture for their staff. Overall, I recommend giving Hug in a Mug a try, but it's important to be aware of the dynamics at play behind the counter.
