South Island Dental

After not going to a dentist for 10 years I was kind of nervous about the whole process. The whole team here is amazing, they are all so kind and welcoming. Dr. Macmillan was so easy to talk to, I felt really safe and comfortable and he made sure I understood what he was telling me. Definitely would 100% recommend coming here

Fantastic dentist, fantastic staff. I am happy to give 5 stars to this dynamic office/team. Dr. MacMillan put me at ease from the first meeting. He and his assistant Gwen, took the time to really listen to my concerns ( and long-standing anxiety over dentistry..) and calmed any fears I had. I am so, so happy with this dental office - honestly, this is where you need to be!

I just moved to the island and was nervous to find a new dentist that I could trust. My first appointment at South Island Dental exceeded my expectations.My cleaning was done by Danielle. Hands down the best cleaning I've ever had! She was so kind and meticulous. She also took time to communicate what she was doing and why. I'm looking forward to seeing her regularly.I then had an exam done by Dr. Ma who was also very friendly and patient. It wasn't just a typical drop in visit... She did a full exam, shared feedback and took time to answer my questions. I also loved that although the xrays showed some ‘problem areas’ she went a step further to take real photos of my teeth so I could see a cavity developing for myself (bc sometimes the X-rays are hard to understand).Overall it was a great experience and I'm so glad I found a place I can trust :)

From my first email to my first visit has been exceptional. The entire staff is like one happy family. On my last visit when I was all done with my appointment and waiting on my other half, Adrianna was most gracious to offer me a drink as I wasn’t a coffee drinker. I think a selfless act as simple as it may seem shows how caring this institution is. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a respectful and empathetic dental professional/organization, they are more like a family than just a business. I am 200% satisfied with both Dr MacMillan (Brin and Sabrina) and the work they did on my teeth. Thank you so much to you and your team! Keep it up!

Really happy to have switched to South Island dental. Great office. All the staff are super kind and friendly. Dr. Macmillan is great at explaining what’s going on and I’ve never felt rushed out. They really take time to make sure you’re comfortable. Really great set up for anyone with dental anxiety. Also super patient and great with kids. Highly recommend them.

My dentist retired, I heard Dr. Macmillan was good, he is “great”, along with his team. Exceeded my expectations totally. They make you feel like family, just like my retired dentist. I am very happy.
