Foothills Firearms Training

Just finished the unrestricted and restricted firearms courses. David and his team were excellent with their teaching methods and set you up to successfully pass the courses.

Completed the Non-restricted course through Foothills Firearms Training. It was a good experience. David and his team are very knowledgeable and set a good environment to teach about guns, gun safety, and gun culture. 5/5

David was absolutely fantastic, took time help everyone individually, answered all questions, made the class fun but also serous which is a very hard line to walk, would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking at getting their licence

I highly recommend signing up for a course or two with David! He is incredibly knowledgeable about the content that he is teaching. His passion for teaching is evident, and he does a great job of helping his students understand the material covered in the manual. David provides opportunities to handle many different kinds of guns during the practical hands-on part. He is always willing to answer questions and show how to load and unload the various firearms. If you are considering doing the non-restricted course, I would also recommend participating in the restricted gun course on the second day. Thank you, David, for your excellent teaching.

David’s enthusiasm for firearms coupled with his knowledge and ability to convey the information concisely and effectively made the course worth my while. He was especially adept at making the course fun or serious when needed which made learning proper safety a lot better than past, non-firearm, safety courses I have taken. The course gave us access to all types of rifles for practical training which helped with making the practical exam simple. Overall, would definitely recommend him to anyone, whether you need a brush up or looking to get your license.

David was an awesome instructor! As well as the rest of the team! Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic! Made the training course go by with no dull moments, great humor but very serious when needed. I had a great experience taking this course. David brought humor and so much knowledge, he kept me captivated through out the entire day. I would recommend his course to anyone.

David delivered the non-restricted PAL content in a clear and effective way in an 8 hour class. He stressed firearm safety and handling and balanced the required theory with real-life examples and hands-on time.I would highly recommend Foothills Firearms to anyone looking for firearms training.
