We have been thinking of adding A/C to our home long before the arrival of the ‘heat-dome’ and related heat-waves. Tony was very helpful and thoughtful in assessing our HVAC needs and we decided to go with the mini-split units. During the pandemic parts/supplies/equipment supply chain issues, Tony did his very best and put us on the priority list for purchasing the new heads and main unit. He was very kind, answered all our questions and concerns and provided optimal solutions in regards to the esthetics of all the exterior lines involved. His work was excellent and made it very straight forward for our electrician to complete the installation process. He was always on-time, was always clean with his work space, tools and equipment and his team worked quietly and efficiently. I would highly recommend Tony and his team to anyone looking for an HVAC consultant and a top notch installation process.

I have dealt with Tony for a number of times now and like everyone who commented he truly is a real professional who takes pride in his work. His attention to details is amazing and kudos to his associate , Henry, also cut of the same cloth. If there is one thing that I find stand out from others is his patience. He never rush his work and will explain everything you want to know about. He even follow up on things later on to see if everything is going well as some of you already commented. Tony was very professional & easy to talk to. We got our air condition installed through Tak Heating & Cooling. We had an initial appointment with Tony to provide a quote. He did a detailed walkthrough and identified multiple possible locations for the outdoor unit and that we needed to move the heating furnace a bit to accommodate the air conditioner. Our furnace was a horizontal installation since we have a crawl space instead of a full basement. Tony then gave us a quote later that night which was prompt.We did get a quote from another vendor too, we decided to go with Tak as the quote was better and we liked our interaction with Tony.After accepting the contract, it took around 4 weeks for Tony and team to receive the air conditioner from Armstrong and install.The installation was completed within a day. Tony and team were very professional, we continued with our work and they did theirs. The installation was clean and they left the home as it was before. After the job was completed, Tony walked us through the full installation, what was done and everything we needed to know about the new air condition.I would definitely recommend Tony and Tak for any HVAC services.

I got a heat pump and tankless water heater installed by Tak Heating and I couldn’t have been happier with their service. Tony and his crew at Tak Heating were very professional throughout the whole process.A lot of the contractors I requested a quote from just came in, took some measurements, and told me they could do the job without taking any notes or references. Tony took the time to explain each item and how he proposed to install it, and recorded videos of the area for reference so he would know exactly what to do for the job. He even optimized some of the vent routing which none of the other contractors ever talked about, which goes to show his experience with this type of work. The quote was very competitive and there were no surprise costs afterwards.During the install, Tony and his crew also kept the area very clean by laying out the covers, and even vacuumed up the area after! This is the first contractor I’ve ever worked with who will do that. After cutting the drywall, Tony would also make sure they placed it back in the original position and did not just leave it lying around. Lastly, Tony was very detailed in walking us through how the system worked and how to best maintain it after completion, and even followed up with us later to see how the system was working.I would highly recommend Tony and Tak for any HVAC work and will continue to work with them when possible, in the future!

Tony has provided me first rate service for over a year now since I first needed his expertise. Part of his valuable experience comes from working up in cold north for a while before servicing the Lower Mainland. My first project for him was during the winter when he promptly came to my new home, diagnosed and fixed the haphazard and incorrect wiring for the valves that control the flow of water for my radiant floor heating. Handled with ease. Second, he was able to service my AC unit and external fan and made helpful suggestions to make my inside unit more practical for me to maintain and for future risk management. Third and most recently, even with him now being personally busy, he was able to prioritize, diagnose and finally treat the issues plaguing my high efficiency boiler feeding the radiant floor and hot water through the home, not yet able to be fixed for one year because of the intermittent nature of the problem. He could’ve replaced my whole 6 year old boiler and plumbing setup which would’ve cost me, but he did not spare any resource and finally found the issue behind the walls (construction issue), and very methodically managing the matter with his team meanwhile managing my expectations throughout, providing very fair estimates and a client-centered price policy. He saved me in many ways and my boiler which has been my nightmare nor purrs like a kitten running very smoothly. Tony was always professional, respectful and responded always in a reasonable time frame even in the middle of high demand season. He even leaves the worksite as he found it, with his own vacuum and booties for his footwear. He didn’t have to spend the time, but he offered and was always willing to educate me as the homeowner with practical knowledge about my systems that he has helped me with for the long term. Tak Heating and Cooling was by far the most professional and competitive in pricing compared to the larger AC companies out there. I contacted 3 different companies before I was referred to Tak Heating and Cooling. Tony and his employee was well prepared to install the mini split unit. Everything was on time for the date of install, they laid out covers on the hardwood floor and stairs to make sure everything was clean. I'm so glad I went with Tak Heating and Cooling for my AC needs and would recommend anyone who is interested in getting one installed to contact Tony @ Tak Heating and Cooling. One of the best investments for future heat waves.

I rarely write reviews. During the past 18 years since I first installed my 3-ton heat bump, I have been dealing with quite a few contractors in servicing & maintenance of my HVAC system. This is because the original installation company was closed due to the owner’s retirement. None of these contractors other than Tak Heating provides such a good overall quality of service. In my experience dealing with Tony (Tak Heating) He is professional, knowledgeable, very patient, so details in scope of works, detailed in project briefings and providing technical explanation. Arrival timing and the job completion site cleaning is gorgeous. The price offer from other competitors is similar, so I did not deeply check his price but the confidence he gives to me which other contractors are not comparable. I highly recommend Tony and no doubt give Tak Heating a 5-star which he deserves.

I recently had a mini-split Heat pump installed by Tak Heating. I was extremely pleased with the service and installation.Tony was very pleasant to talk to and he came to see my home to give me an estimate in a timely way. I contacted Tony on June 1st for an estimate and in under two weeks, we had our central A/C install completed; from the initial consultation to equipment order and install, Tony and his team were professional, courteous and quick to respond to any questions and concerns. The quoted cost was more than competitive, and sourcing of the equipment only took a few days. On the day of install, they arrived on time, finished the work within the stated timeframe, and left the mechanical space cleaner than prior to their arrival. As well, Tony highlighted the missing condensate neutralizer for the furnace drain, so included that in the scope of work to ensure maximum lifespan of the drainage system.
