This place can be expensive, even lately stuff on sale is still pricey. In general, they have attitude problems from workers to management. I have been going to this store for years and dealing with the pharmacy is another story, they all think they are big shots, yet some of them are confused and takes a while to find your filled prescription, at times they see you standing there but it's like you are not there. I understand it's a very busy pharmacy, but they can be rude and discriminate towards people based on my experience on a couple of occasions. I even spoke to the pharmacy owner/manager and he wasn't interested to hear my side of the story and defended the pharmacist's action and the bad discriminatory treatment that I received before I even finished explaining to him. Overall, it's not a good service. Thinking to change as I don't need the hassle and bad customer service.

I weny to full a prescription for my 2 year old and when I showed the pharmacist, Ayo was his name, he refused to accept saying the digital card was not correct. He said I've been in this business 30 years and I've never seen a card like that". Digital drug cards have not been around 30 years. No matter how much I tried to educate him that my insurance provider no longer provides paper cards

Called and waited long on the call for an attendant to take my call. I explained the problem to her that my child was experiencing an eye infection. Was referred to book an appointment online. Before hanging up, I asked the pharmacy attendant for her name and she paused, closed the conversation and hung up. I was shocked and saddened by that but moved onto booking the online appointment. I arrived with my kids around 5 minutes early. I was attended by the pharmacist whose name is Ayo. This man has always had terrible customer service skills. He has no social skills to engage with customers with an ounce of interest and care. He is stoic, monotone, lacks interpersonal skills, does not ask probing questions to dig deeper to understand concerns. If I could paint a picture, his personality is like the TV character called Wednesday from the Adams Family. Before him, I enjoyed visiting the pharmacy. The point I want to make is that on this day I visited, he began my appointment and midway began assisting another customer because he couldn’t wait a few seconds for me to take my insurance card out of my wallet. I interrupted his long talk with the other customer and he began defending himself that I should wait. He then refused service because he didn’t like that I didn’t agree with him. I asked for another pharmacist and he said there was nobody else. Meanwhile I’m standing there with my 9 year old daughter in need of care feeling completely uncared for by him. I asked that he stop punishing me for disagreeing with him and he kept defending himself. I said he had bad customer service and again refused care. I told him I couldn’t leave without his care bc my child really needed it. He then started asking my daughter questions about her symptoms which she was having a difficult time answering and I tried to talk for my daughter but he kept dismissing me and only having conversation and eye contact with my 9 year old. He even went as far as to provide her with prescriptions instructions for which I interpreted and said to explain it to me because I would be proving care for her. At that point that’s when he finally looked at me and spoke to me instead. Everyone needs work to survive and I don’t wish anyone job loss but please hire a caring pharmacist instead and more staff to help with the high volume of customers.

This is the only store I know of that insists that if you are paying by debit you must use self checkout. The cashier begins by asking you if you are paying cash? If you respond 'No', you are told that you have to use the machines - this is SDM policy. When pressed if it is head office company policy, or store policy. Employees mentions it is the managers policy, either they are lying and placing the blame on the manager or simply do not want to work. This has happened several times!!!

My home pharmacy, it's convenient and they get the job done. As for the store they have decent sales on things I need, they keep it clean, and I like the easy self check out. Sometimes they're very busy and I'd say not enough staff is attentive and avaialble at those times but that's a minor issue. Overall good.

honestly a mixed bag. very inconsistent service by the pharmacists from one day to the next. you basically need to babysit them into doing their job properly. never expect that a message given to one pharmacist or pharm tech will make it to another one. they cannot wait to get you off the phone every time you call for any small issue. the only way you get consistent service is if you literally go on the same day of the week and see the same pharmacist who remembers your routine. they’re also probably running like the slowest software ever on their computers judging by the time it takes to process prescriptions. very few shoppers drug marts do it right, especially in Mississauga. the best pharmacists I’ve ever had have always been independent ones.Recommendations: update your system for efficiency and better communication between teams. in this day and age, it should not take an hour or more to print out labels and fill bottles. Otherwise in a few years none of you will have jobs and you’ll be replaced by AI. probably one of the most fitting type of jobs to be taken over by AI. Don’t really see pharmacists using any complicated analytical skills to do anything.

Customer service at cosmetic section was very poor. The two girls (July 14th post 7pm) who were supposed to help with products was rude and not at all helpful even after seeking help.

The manager and the Indian girl working there are the worst when it comes to customer service. Told me I can’t drop the packages and have to wait till customer is done, even though paperwork with outgoing packages was complete and signed. The person ahead of me had 30-35 packages so that’s a waste of 20 minutes while the girl slowly scans everything in. My packages were heavy, so I left it on the side and the manager decides to kick the packages out of the way while walking out. When she could have simply asked me to move it. You guys need to implement better customer service training program for you employees or hire better employees.
