If you're in Coquitlam, consider yourself lucky because there's a pastry party going on, and you're invited! This joint is way more than just a bakery. They've got a smorgasbord of treats that'll make your mouth water. Of course, not every single thing will rock your socks off, but there are some real gems to be found. I'd say everything is worth a taste test, except for maybe the lemonades. And if you need a place to sit and savor your treats, the dining area is top-notch, complete with a stunning wood slab table. Oh, and a little advice: if you want to get your hands on the absolute best goodies, you better set your alarm early and hustle over there before the crowds descend.

Always loved the quality and experience of the fresh baked items at Olivier's however the cakes and salads are previously frozen and don't share the same tastes for obvious reasons. Today I picked up a salad and noticed the tomatoes were moldy and took a second one and that too had moldy tomatoes. When I took it to the lady she asked me if I wanted it without the tomatoes...she may have misunderstood that I was telling her not to display them because of the tomatoes. Nonetheless I will still be back for the fresh baked goods!

I LOVE THIS PLACE. Amazing staff, even better bread, sandwiches are fresh and tasty, tons of deserts to choose from, pizza is great, coffee could be a tiny bit better but it still is good. Love the seating, super cute inside and the staff is very sweet. I would highly suggest this place to anyone, maybe come earlier because they do sell out of their sandwiches. To the owners, I really hope you go back to making custom sandwiches it would really elevate the experience. Check this place out any time of the day for any meal and you will not regret it.

Four stars, but if I could I would rate the experience 3.5! Decor is nice and the pastries are very good, also based on a previous visit. We decided to have lunch today, however my partner and I had totally different experiences. My ham and cheese croissant was really nice; the wife's housemeat pizza was all about dough and very little substance. We will definitely come back for the baked goods.

We visited Oliver’s bakery and café on a quiet Saturday afternoon.The display case was absolutely full of delicious looking desserts and breads. We had a hard time choosing what to get!The café attendants offered fast, efficient, friendly customer service.After ordering there is ample seating to enjoy your hot coffee and dessert.We are very pleased with the quality of service and products here. We absolutely will be back.

I have been coming here for the baked goods and sandwiches for a while now, and everything has always been wonderful! So fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced. However, they recently changed their sandwich menu, and it's been a bit of a disappointment... all the old sandwich combos on the half baguettes were fantastic, but the new spread is lackluster in comparison. The new items still taste fine and are fresh, but are nowhere near as good as the old ones, and there isnt as much selection on the baguettes. Really miss the old menu, please consider bringing it back!

Let first of share that the quality of baked goods is top quality. The freshness and ingredients are definitely showcased here from the BOH team.The issue I’ve always has are the staff. Always to eager to ring up you item. What do you mean? I don’t just buy a loaf, a single baked item, or a baguette. I actually buy a minimum of a dozen items. I share with the team that I am picking up several items. Yet, they just stand at the Square POS with this look of shock.Perhaps they are all trained to ring up every single item before they proceed. Perhaps it helps with recalling the order. Regardless, it’s the only place I have ever been that struggle with the concept of assisting with more items. A simple “is there anything else” before eagerly trying to ring up my items. No, it’s not been busy during any of my visits that required a sense of urgency.Je m’en fous - is how I would summarize the service.

This place is such a gem! Love the variety of breads and pastries available. The person who was at the counter was also super sweet, making our visit extra nice. If you’re looking for coffee and sandwiches, they have those too!Olivier’s has a good amount of tables and a chill ambience where you can chat among friends or get some studying done.I hope to visit again. So much to try!

The absolute BEST hidden gem for french sandwhiches, pastry, and bread. Forget about PAUL on Robson, I go out of my way to this bakery for thier amazing food. Get the Bayonne Sandwhich and you will be blown away by the high quality ingredients, PERFECT bread, and insanely affordable price. 7 dollars for the best sandwhich I've ever tasted is amazing. Go during thier breakfast or lunch times for even better deals. Also, thier pastries and desserts are spot on and also come at an affordable price. A giant creme brulee is only 4.50 and we also had the passion fruit mousse which was decadent, tangy, and LARGE. Enviroment is not the best since it's a small storefront attached to the actual factory, in an industrial zone but it doesn't matter. Try before you die type of place.

I ordered online birthday cake for my son. I was expecting to get it fresh since I gave them 2 days notice. When I was picking it up it was frozen and looked just like all other chocolate cakes sitting in the freezer. To me it looked like the cake was made long ago, put in the freezer and the happy birthday writing was added on top of it and I was right.The girls working there said that the cake was made yesterday. Since I complained a woman from the office called me back and said they make cakes only once a week and when they get an order they just pull one of from the freezer and add writing on it. They should add that information on their website cause 48-72h notice is very misleading and it made me think the cake will be fresh. I bought one frozen cake from Olivier's and we didn't like the texture.In the end it turns out the girls I talked to in person lied to me saying it was made the day before. I asked for a refund and got a cake elsewhere fresh for less.My response to your comment below is that somebody is confusing me with someone else, cause I didn't come two weeks ago asking about the cakes but 3 days ago and only bought small chocolate royal to make sure I will like it before I order a big cake online. Nobody never mention anything about freshness, I assumed it would be freshly made since she cashier said 'we require 24-72h notice to make it'.
