I first started taking classes at OYPTS (now the Ottawa School of Theatre) when I was 11 years old, and I am still involved with the organization well over 2 decades later. I can honestly say that it changed the course of my life. I met many lifelong friends and learned valuable lessons about working as a team. The atmosphere at the Ottawa School of Theatre is one of acceptance, inclusion and positivity. I would highly recommend getting involved!

Wow. OYP Theatre have my son and my family more than we could ever ask for. He always was a happy child and outgoing but struggled with ADHD at one point. OYP school gave him his focus and confidence back thanks to all the great teachers as well as support for the administration staff. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Kathi, Rachel and all the others that work so hard for kids and adults alike!
