Aveda Store

Common theme about this place “they’ll say anything to make a sale”. I see other reviews with the same experience

Came by here to ask some questions, I met Leanne she’s very friendly and knowledgeable she helped me and my wife on how to take care of our hair, she was very thorough and explained well. She has that good personality and know what she’s talking about.

Clean and light shopping floor. Small store, shopping space is a bit crowded. Price is normal as its brand. Not much discounts or on sales items available. Employees are basically nice and friendly. Credit cards accepted. Serve speed is a bit slow. Located inside Metrotown shopping mall. Free mall parking lot available.

I would say the staff is knowledge... or they BS their way to a sale. For a guy with dry hair I'm looking for a simple solution, they sold me a product that I can't return or exchange. Thanks for stealing 200$. I would warn anyone to not shop there, they are there just to meet their own selfish quotas. Worst I was more than happy to pay 200$ if they were going to tell me the truth about was the correct product for me to use. Very dishonest people.

Not the pleasant experience we had. We stopped by the store at around 3pm today, the lady working there greeted us and asked us if we needed any help. We asked her if the store carried a certain hair product she said that they didn’t have it. Okay that’s totally fine and understandable. But then, her tone changed on us from friendly to assertive. By her tone, it sounded like she was either the manager or the owner of the store. She asked us questions such as if we knew what Sally’s Beauty is and how to colour our hair when she was looking at me and I was standing in front of her with half-dyed hair. She was looking us up and down and talking to us as if we came from another planet. I felt uncomfortable, thanked her and took my family member from there and left after she finished talking to us. She acted as if we offended her coming into her store and asking for help. We didn’t feel welcomed at all. Never going back there again.

Terrible customer service and false advertisement, the assistant manager was extremely rude, please shop somewhere else.

Good products

I had a very pleasant experience at this store with other sales staff in the past. They made me feel welcomed and were easy to talk to.. but this lady who was working this morning (July 31,2020) had a bit of assertive attitude. The product I wanted to buy was out of stock and I felt rushed to make a decision to come back next week or leave the store with travel size one for now. I was not comfortable to look around the store to browse other products so I just left.

Awesome service. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable about their products. They let you know the best deals and give a full explanation about the products. The history of previous purchases is in their system. One of the ladies walked me to my car as I had several items to carry and I am using a cane. Thank you K at Aveda for going above and beyond.

Keislyn was very genuine, nice, helpful and knows the product. We bought the dry hair treatment for my daughter with her recommendation after she did a scalp analysis. We were able to save some money with the 20% off and got what we actually came in for for free. Hopefully the products will help .. we will see but it was a good experience nonetheless. Thanks
