We just bought two kayaks last week and I am so impressed with the level of customer service that we got! The guy that helped us really took time to show us how to properly strap the kayaks on and answered all of our questions. Best service ever!! Thank you so much! Top notch!

Great store with an amazing selection of canoes and kayaks. Also anything you need to go on a Portage with. So many paddle options with some beautiful wooden paddles to choose from too. They even gave us a couple of stickers with our purchase. The gentleman who helped us out even showed me where to find the girl's portage too" sign they have hanging around the store. The seat for the canoe we got works great. My only reason for a 4 Star review is because this location truly needs AC

I went to this store as someone who’s never touched a kayak but I had one in mind. The staff was incredible; very knowledgeable, patient and willing to answer questions. They even helped me figure out a rack system for my car. I bought the kayak that day and returned a few days later (with a rack) to pick it up.When I went to pick it up again the staff was fantastic, helped me load my new kayak onto my roof racks, showed me strapping techniques and gave me great tips on how to load/unload by myself and safely transport it.I’ve been here a few more times since and I’ve always a pleasant experience. Can’t recommend them enough.

Inconsistent!I originally purchased a kayak in April 2022. I believe I dealt with the owner Kelly. The entire experience was excellent. The day I got the kayak Kelly and his employee helped me outfit my fishing kayak with a paddle and a few other accessories. The day of purchase I was given 15% off on accessories.My dad attempted to buy the same kayak roughly a month later, he spoke with a female manager who’s name I do not know. She was blunt, would not give my dad any direction and denied any 15% discount on accessories on the purchase day. Simply said my dad ended up going to SAIL for his kayak.This weekend I snapped the paddle out of my shaft when falling out of the kayak. I called the complete paddler to inquire about warranty process. To my surprise the employee spoke with his manager I believe Kelly and said they would replace the paddle for a brand new one exact same model, and deal with the warranty on their end. I arrived at the store not even 15 minutes later. The same manager my dad dealt with told me she would not be honouring the deal just given over the phone and offered me a much lower quality metal paddle to Only borrow from the rental fleet.It’s sad to see such inconsistencies. I no longer see a point in spending a few extra dollars to patronize the small business when Amazon and Sail can provide the same customer service if not better.

Very knowledgeable and helpful staff , we got 2 kayaks in February, they stored them until we were able to pick them up end of March. Great help to put them up on the kayak racks on the car , as we didn't have any experience to tie and secure them up. Very patient to explain the steps to learn how to do that at later date when needed.Great selection for all you need for paddling , they also offer courses for water sports, we will go for kayak rescue course in April.

I purchased a Current Designs kayak from the Complete Paddler in the summer of 2021. I experienced three quality control issues with the kayak's rigging early on. The owner of the Complete Paddler reached out to me by phone in the early fall - unsolicited - to ask if I was happy with my CD kayak. The staff were evidently aware of some quality control issues with the CD boats. I was told that I could bring my kayak back to the Complete Paddler when my paddling season was over and they would repair the rigging free of charge. I was told that Current Designs would not compensate them for the repair. I picked up my kayak this past May, good as new. That is great customer service! Thank you Complete Paddler!

Bought a kayak here about 2 months ago. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable. I went to the other kayak store down the road and came right back. What a difference staff can make. Love kayaking and will be back when I feel like upgrading.
