H&R Block

I did my taxes here , they issued the tax refund via western union money order for which they already charged some money. Then they asked me to go to nearby cash money and money mart location to cash the money order at free of cost. But when I went to encash the money order , they said it’s a money order , and there is a cost to cash the money order . If this H&R location would have not recommended me False Information, I would have rather gone to my bank to cash it , instead of all these private places .

Did my taxes here a few times. Had a good experience except for last year. The woman who did my taxes didn't add my rent so I got screwed for that credit every month. I'll never go back. I had issues with h&R many years ago and went to other places. Gave them a chance again. 2 years good and then of course they screw me. They lose my business again. Congrats h&R

After a mistake was made and my company didn’t have two years of GST HST returns made, Linda went above and beyond and stayed about 120 minutes after closing time to help me figure out what was going on with the CRA. We figured it all out, the returns were produced, and she was super nice. Revenu Quebec had threatened me to produce a return under a week, and it ended up that on top of the original mistake the bank or Revenu Quebec put the money in the wrong place and for 2022 instead of 2021. She is a lifesaver and a really good person. I can live in peace now.

First time asking someone doing my income taxes. Mariela handled my case efficiently, she was a great help despite my particular fiscal situation with covid and my come back from abroad. The young lady at the reception desk also welcomed professionally and presented quickly services they offer. I recommend them.

I have been doing my taxes with HR block for the past 3 years and I have always had great customer service. In this particular occasion Mariela helped me with my taxes and did a wonderful job. She was very helpful and very professional. Everyone else I saw at that location had a positive energy and was willing to help.

Don't waste your time. I spent 1000 dollars there because I had a lot of returns and receipts, they didnt do their job properly and ghosted me. Wish I could give negative stars.Edit: follow up all you want, I've been waiting for that for a while now. You'll see the ignored emails, at this point there is nothing you can do to remedy the situation. The money is spent, the job wasn't done and I was ignored, I'm not wasting my time with your company any further. I've learned Mt lesson.In case anyone was wondering, the in fact did not contact me like the owner" said they would. Avoid."

It’s been 3 years doing my taxes with H&R Block Services, however, this year in particular Mariela assisted me, she was very understanding, savvy, and profesional specially during these COVID-19 times where communication over email was essential and she was kind, patient and helpful. I am truly satisfied with the service she provided.

Had an appointment with one of their staff and nobody called to let me know they were not coming. Could have saved me the trip. Disappointing..

My wife and I paid over $600 to this company to fill our tax guys! 600 hundred!!! I'm shocked! Our pervious company asked us $150 for the same job! Never seen that before! They took 20 days to do that job 20 DAYS! They never told me that they were busy so I should go to find someone else doing that faster! I went there 4 times! That was my 1st and last time there! Most expensive worst service ever seen! I'll fill my tax myself next year you lost me HrBloc! Why can't we give 0 star?

Worst service ever. I waited two months for my tax return to be done. I submitted my document in the store in March, I called every single week, since I had an emergency, they kept telling me that they would call me at the end of the week or the next, they never called, at some point they stopped answering. When I finally went there in late June, they told me the file is in process, then I realized that they didn't do anything. They still asked me if I still wanted them to do it, like I had any choice. Someone called me the next day and completed everything. I still paid over $200 for the service, never before and my tax return was so much more than I ever paid for the other years :(
