If I could give them 0 stars I would and this will be my first time rating a business with such low ratings. I usually don't believe in giving bad reviews. But I am stunned at the completely outrageous charges of this company when they claim to be the cheapest and best service provider in Ajax. I cannot believe how I have been treated by your customer service team. A tech named Amin came on-site to fix my washer and told me only the screw was loose. He was done within 5 mins and asked me to pay $240 for the labor. When I asked why the cost was so high, he said it's company policy and I can deal with the company about it. I said the company was offering a discount of $30 and he said the price was after applying the discount. I found the cost to be outrageous and called the manager named Alex who refused to acknowledge the issue and said he can't help. To make the matters worst, the charge on my card was for $271. If this is what is called cheap professional service, then this has to be the biggest joke. I wish the technician before fixing the issue would have told me about the cost so I could make an educated decision but I was cornered because the so called issue was fixed and now I have to pay. The manager told me the technician decides the labor cost and the technician told me it's company standard price. I don't know who to believe. It goes without saying that I will never be going back to this company ever nor will be recommending them yo anyone. I an shocked they have 4.3 star ratings given their manager has no sense to talk to customers to help them out.

Absolute scam of a company just trying to grab your money. I called and booked an appointment for my freezer that wasn’t working, gave the error code, model number and told them that it was likely the thermistor if they could replace it. I asked for their cost of labour and the woman tried to pretend that she had no idea. I was also told that the technician would come with parts since I gave them all the information.Tech showed up- we explained that we felt it was the thermistor. He spent less than 5 minutes and said yes we are right. Cost would be $220 an hour!!! Plus parts. How utterly ridiculous that you show up, confirm what we told you, spend less than 5 minutes and charge $100 and have NO parts on hand anyway!! Who makes $220 an hour these days for this kind of work- disgusting and a cash grab! I immediately called and spoke to Alex a manager who did absolutely nothing but told me to email accounting for a refund that I was requesting. How can a company operate to price gauge people especially after Covid etc. I would never recommend them unless you want to throw money away and have $220 an hour to spend. Still waiting for a response from accounting… Very frustrating, disappointing and upsetting!

Terrific service from Appliance Repair Expert. They took my call and captured the basic details of the faults I had with my dishwasher. The appointment was arranged and the technician did an excellent job, the appliance is all sorted! Will definitely use again when needed! Thanks!

The Appliance Repair Expert is a wonderful professional, polite and knowledgeable team. The technician fixed our washing machine Electrolux. There was a very complicated failure, we were already configured to replace the machine, but he fixed it and the washing machine works. Many thanks to Appliance Repair Expert for the excellent work.

The technician was super polite and did an excellent job fixing my dryer. He gave me advice on what to do with it to ensure it continued to work correctly and told me what caused the initial problem. Very nice guy would definitely call for further repair work.

Guy showed up Thursday, said we need a Freon tech. Said they would call that day. No calls which means we were left with no fridge the entire Easter weekend with five kids. Our calls were ignored or sent to extensions that just hung up on us. Don’t waste your time and money.

Do not recommend, they were unable to provide an estimation for cost over the phone or in person. They even said the service fee will be waved, just need to pay for amount of work from technician. When asked the technician he stated he will give the best deal" and not to worry about it. He was unable to resolve the request and he said it was fine with out evening trying. Left with a $250 bill and when I ask him to explain why it was so high for no work done. He said was paying for his experience and that he will reduce it to $200 for miscommunication however

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I was told that it would cost me $89 to have a technician come out for a service call and diagnostics, that money would be deducted from any repair and labour should you wish to go ahead with the repair. When the technician arrived he simply moved the freezer tray back in position to close the door, that's it! It took him 5-10 minutes max and no parts were needed. He didn't tell me what the cost of the repair would be prior to starting (I thought it was going to be the $89 at best). He charged me a total of $248.60 and said it was the standard service fee (plus tax). I called the office and the person said to email the manager, Andrew Smith, when I asked her to confirm their address she didn't want to provide the information, she said for me to find it myself on my invoice, when I insisted on providing me with this simple information she reluctantly gave it to me and then hung up the phone! This is not the same address listed locally online!! I called back, and got someone else who reiterated the ridiculous charge of $220 and did not explain how the $89 was deducted from the repair as I was originally told it would be. He too hung up. This company is rude, unprofessional and overpriced. SCAMMERS!! They should be ashamed of themselves for taking advantage of people!!!

The technician arrived on time, performed a check and provided a comprehensive overview of the situation with the dryer. The service was very professional I highly recommend these guys and will use them again.
