Outdoor pool area is completely blocked from any sunlight whilst maintenance is happening, I wasn’t told this beforehand or even on arriving at the hotel - if I knew this I would have booked a different hotel. See pictures.Asked amenably to add breakfast to my room rate and was told it’s not possible, to upgrade I’d have to pay an extra 750 per day.Disappointing service for such a lovely hotel.

Non-guests are not welcome here! (even the lobby).Today I was here for ~5 min, and I was profiled by security. She walked by a few times. Then came back to the couch and said, “if you’re not a guest here you need to leave.”I was surprised but I didn’t make any fuss and started to leave the hotel. She uncomfortably started to follow me as I left the hotel, and I asked her, “Why today?” and she said, “that’s just the rules…”Occasionally, on my lunch break I would visit this hotel lobby. It was great place to disconnect and I really enjoy the Starbucks.I’ve been doing this for years.Had no idea the Starbucks and all that was for guests only.Guess the gingerbread house displays are also for quests too? :(

Erin at the front desk was super nice and helpful. She really went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. The front desk personnel can make or break the experience of the hotel as they are the first people that you meet. Thank you Erin for your hospitality.

We absolutely loved our stay at this Hyatt in Vancouver. The staff was very helpful and friendly, the location was absolutely great for grabbing the subway and close to food and shopping. The room was clean and spacious. We stayed here prior to our cruise, it was very convenient to just walk across the street and take the subway to the cruise terminal. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed at Hyatt for a conference which was also hosted in Hyatt. The rooms were lovely and a great location. The staff went over and beyond to make sure the training ran as smoothly as possible. There were sometimes when the staff hadn't been proactive (where we requested something the day before and we then had to send the same request the next day) but all in all - great. The only other complaint is the bath in the rooms - way too small to be considered as a bath but the pressure of the shower - fantastic

Good size rooms, decent gym and generally very friendly and helpful service. Only downsides were1) charge for parking felt excessive2) grain bar food options were a touch limited if not sharing.Overall though would recommend, especially without a car.

Perfectly located in Vancouver downtown close to the waterfront. Walking distance to high shopping at Robson street and most desired restaurants in the area. Hotel rooms are perfectly clean, luxurious decor and larger than most other hotels in the same price range. Modern furnishings, perfect beddings and mattress. Welcoming front desk staff and lovely housekeeping team that makes you feel welcome to your rooms. Hyatt is a much better hotel than most Marriott and Sheraton in the area. Great price for a luxury hotel. You can never go wrong with this one.

Great hotel with staff who go above and beyond to make a great impression and ensure a fantastic stay in Vancouver. The hotel is perfectly situated centrally to visit the harbour, Stanley park, Gastown and Chinatown. Thank you Patrick and staff for an amazing stay. We will be back!!

Centrally located hotel, clean and well maintained. Higher priced for the maintenance, and decor. Its more of 3-star rather than 4-star as rated. I would not come back here at this price point unless it is upgraded or cheaper than other hotels in areaElevator setup and security could be better. There is easy public access to any guest floors (no key tap was required to access the guest floors).
