Honestly take that 1 star I gave and make it a zero because this company is the most unprofessional company I have ever worked with my entire life. I have this lady named Victoria Nip and the appraiser Del Shah working on my claim that I put in a month and 2 weeks ago. Everytime I call her or email her she never responds and the few times she has called me she provides me with no information. 2 weeks later after I made my claim Victoria approved for me to get my rental from enterprise, 4 days later I get another call from Victoria telling me that they are putting my claim on hold and that I can either return the rental or start paying out of pocket. I currently pay additional on my insurace for $2500 of rental coverage and I have been having to pay out of pocket (making today 1 month) since they havent approved my claim yet. The appraiser went and saw my car the week of Valentines day and since then nobody in the company gave the green lightfor my car to get fixed. So I have been without my car, paying for a car rental, and have received no support or help for over a month.Super fustrating, I'm at the point where I wanna go to the office in person and stay there till someone gives me an answer. Do not go with this company unless you want to receive the worst customer service imaginable. You see the 1.9 star rating?. . .they earned that for a reason.

Run don’t walk away from this company! Terrible service. Just awful. It took 8 months for my car to get fix. What a runaround and the adjuster was none existent in the whole process and Sound Insurance the broker was useless as well. Money grabbers the whole bunch of them! Stay away!

If you get into an accident and the other person is with Wawanesa, they will not provide dash cam footage showing their client is at fault. They will claim there is no footage.Absolutely disgusting behavior but not surprising.

The most scummy insurance company ever!I had a claim once where they told me the accident will be 50/50 at fault and later on they sent me a later saying I’m at full fault.They also changed my profile to charge me more money by saying I have no winter tires on my car when I have told them 100 times I do they scam their own customers be wary these guys are modern thieves

Horrible service. Our policy got cancelled without notice. If you’re unaware when this happens a CNP gets out on your record therefore any other insurance company you go with will be affected. I couldn’t speak with the third party as it was through wawanesa however they confirmed any communication should have come from wawanesa which it did not. Very poor service which has no effect on them but rather the customer.

The worst company I would suggest everyone not get any insurance from this company its a big scam for me, they have completely disturbed my records I had sufficient funds in my account but this company make it non payment report on my track and later on deducted two months of payments from my account, my that my broker tried to contact with them many times but they never responded to her emails as well.“ Please avoid to do your business with this company, take your business somewhere else. ”

Horrible experience so far. I was in an accident during a snow storm a few weeks ago and it has been nothing but HELL dealing with this company. First I spoke with FOUR different people the day after my accident to start my claim. It's been a few weeks and repairs are just starting (I only have $1500 rental coverage, so I'm about to run out soon, they don't care). They estimate damages based on PHOTOS so your car could be a total write off without you knowing it. Their customer service experience team is insincere, lazy and incredibly incompetent. My adjuster has since passed my file off to someone else, I suspect she didn't appreciate my frustration and confusion as her lack of communication thus far l. If I could give 0 stars I would.

This insurance company takes too much of a conservative stance, and doesn't take the time to actually understand start up businesses to actually help them. I'm not very impressed with having to wait for an executive approval for a waiver of subrogation, which is something that is very universal across most businesses. You not only lost a client, but I will be sure to warn many entrepreneurs and start ups about your practices. You're too much of a hassle and waste of time, it defeats the purpose of being a legitimate insurance company.

Got in a hit and run, wanted to hopefully fix the car myself and not go through insurance but when got quoted it was to expensive for me to afford. Made the claim. Got approved for a rental. Came and took pictures of the car, couldn’t get ahold of anyone for weeks. Finally get ahold of them and they say we need to launch an investigation and that they will not pay for the car rental anymore. I pay almost 500$ a month with no previous accidents or tickets. This company is a scam!!!

0 stars if possible.8 weeks with our claim and they’re making us return the rental today without being settled???U had no delays picking our truck up within the week of the incident. And you have had it now since noon, January 16th! Almost 2 months in your possession and u haven’t had the time to look at it???We have followed up weekly, could rarely get call backs or answers.Wawanesa has apologized for the delay and that things are taking a while on THEIR end.This is your fault for not working in a prompt manner.You are leaving us high and dry with children.How can we get to work and then to school without a vehicle???Wawanesa Insurance,you need to take care of your customers or you won’t have any left soon.
