I contacted the leasing agent of the building I was interested in and left two voicemails over the span of 4 days, nobody called back. Few days later I got a hold of her and was able to schedule a viewing on a Wednesday afternoon. I was at the building on the scheduled time and called her few times as I don't see anyone. I left a couple voicemails still no return call. Until finally, after 45 minutes of waiting she called back saying that she had an emergency. I agreed to reschedule two days later and guess what? She stood me up again. She said she's going to call me later in the evening, but she never did. The leasing agent is so unprofessional and obviously doesn't value other people's time. I hope this doesn't happen to other interested tenants. Good luck!

Don't read the 5 star reviews! They are all from bot accounts Braden Equities posted to make it seem like they're a half decent company. Lies! The only honest reviews from actual residents are the one star reviews. They have scammed me out of hundreds of dollars in illicit late/NSF fees. Despite constantly sending them my bank records showing them my rent fees are in my account. This company has burned through more property managers in two years than most companies do in decades. They take zero accountability for their lack of due diligence instead constantly blame tenants for their companies dysfunctional negligence. This company has no business managing properties. I'm so glad I read past all the fake 5 star reviews and seen that I'm not the only one having the same issues with this company. The amount of money this company makes scamming their tenants is the only reason they haven't gone belly up. STAY AWAY!

MAKE SURE YOU ARE READING REAL REVIEWS AND NOT BOTS THEY PAID TO GIVE 5 STARSunfortunately did not have a good experience with these people. they definitely pick and choose favourites, and if you are younger you may as well steer far away from these people. we had a year lease at Plaza Apartments in Red Deer, we were never once late on rent. our building manager, Cindy, right from the get go would ignore or brush off the issues we were having in the apartment. almost the entire summer our apartment was 30+ degrees because of a broken valve that they kept saying was “just the way the heater works”. we then had issues with another tenant vandalizing our vehicle telling us to move over when they were in fact parked way over the lines. I asked her to speak with the tenants so that I didn’t have to get police involved and she revoked my parking spot and refused to speak with the tenants. I made a formal complaint through the email she gave me but i never received any sort of attempted response. few months later we decide we aren’t going to stay in a place where we are so mistreated so we move out. we knew there were a couple damages from moving in etc that we would be charged for and we had no issue with that. our bill comes in the mail where they seem to be charging us for a ton of things that were not caused by us. (new toilet, carpet stains that had been there the whole time, blind string that broke that we attempted contacting them about multiple times) so we contacted them to get it sorted out. they bluntly told us they would send a new bill in the mail which we got today, they are still charging us for the toilet and the stains, just not the full cost. at this point we are just putting our hands up and giving them money we don’t actually owe them to avoid anymore conflict. feels like dealing with a bunch of high schoolers. very very unprofessional and very disappointed with this company.

I moved in with my son and my boyfriend, it seemed to have been a good fit for us but within the first week a bubble had appeared on the floor. I asked and never got an answer, over time I would leave my apartment to come home and find thing moved or BROKEN, when they definitely weren’t when I had left. I decided to set up the camera from my laptop and record the next time I left. I had caught my building manager BRENDA using the master key to enter my apartment without notice and just looked around. After this I was weary about leaving because of what I witnessed. My partner and I got into a domestic dispute and the cops were called and he moved out. The next morning I had a 24 hour eviction notice, I got help from my mom to contact a lawyer and he told us it wasn’t even a legal eviction notice and there were too many typos for it to be legible. We write her a note that if this notice is pressed seeing as its FAKE and you can barely read it we would be taking her to court. The notice was gone after that and I had decided to move anyways. Now our manager TOLD us to lie in the application so we would be more likely to get it, my brother took over the lease with my mom but apparently it’s still just her and I on there so I’ve called to make a complaint multiple times but I get hung up on everytime I say what’s happening or give them BRENDAS name. She refuses to fix the broken toilet for my brother, refuses to look at sinks that won’t drain. She charged my mother and I DOUBLE what a broken window would be through invoice. BRADEN EQUITIES IS A JOKE AND ANYBODY WHO VALUES THEIR HOME SHOULD STAY FAR AWAY. They will make you feel bad and call you liars when you tell them what’s happening in your apartment, say it’s your own fault things don’t work the way they SHOULD. PHUCK BRADEN EQUITIES. They don’t care about tenants and they certainly won’t let you complain.

My current property manager Brenda has been here for over a year now and I am so happy to have her looking after my building. The hallways and out side are kept clean, any issues I've had have been addressed and dealt with very quickly. Broken screen door was fixed next day. I Had issues with a very loud neighbor, dealt with immediately. Someone broke the lock, replaced by the evening. She communicates anything that needs to be said and is incredibly reasonable. As long as her or any future property managers are like her, I won't be moving any time soon.I will say that my first property manager left a sour taste in my mouth (hense the one star gone) when I moved in, but he didn't last long at all. Seems that Braden took care of that issue right away.

I do not recommend this company! After livening on their property for 3 years , the last month of moving out we had people coming in and out for viewing, not letting us pack or anything like that. We spent 2 days cleaning the unit, we left it better then what they handled to us and we never got our damaged deposit back and on top of that got charged for a extra $760, for no good reason. they do not answer or care to fix the problem. They ruined your credit by sending it to collations even tho they got no reason to.

I have been living here at Plaza Apartments since Sept of 2014 to present and out of all the Resident Managers Cindy has been the best her and the staff here are doing a great job and it will be a sad day when she leaves all the best to you

Southfort Village Fort Saskatchewan.The landlord of this complex is amazing. She communicates with the tenants and always see her around the complex working and very aware of what’s going on.For someone like me who is out of town working a lot she is perfect. She is very accommodating and understands I am out of town. She is very personable and easy to talk to. Very friendly… please don’t switch landlords again. Since I have been living there I think she is the 4th. I think this one is a keeper

I never seen a bad company like braden Equities Inc rent apartment in my life. I was live one year with them in Edmonton. Their rude manager have never discipline and respect for tenent, lack of maintenance, unjustified car towing from my designated parking spot, and unjust charges over monthly rent money agreement. Don't rent from this company and be safe.
