Avis Car Rental

I went to pick up I never got the car, I was told to come back in 20 mnts when I did place was close, customers service very poor, sales representative extremely rude I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION.

NEVER RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION. The on-duty manager was extremely rude, disrespectful, racist and a bully. First, we'd to wait 45 mins as office location was closed during office hours with a note- back in 20 mins. But they were closed for almost 45 mins. Second, the on-duty manager did not help us at all, and verbally abused us.

One suggestion - stay as far away you can from this place. You have been warned!These guys are plain dishonest, rude and without manners.I rented a car for 1 week during my relocation from US through my company channel. On returning the car they found a small ding which is almost not noticable on the trunk. I was 100 percent sure it was there from the beginning. They kept insisting that I caused it and told me why I bother since the company insurance going to pay it. Then I requested a drop off to a car dealership which was 15 minutes drive. They asked me to wait and I waited for 30 minutes. They were talking among themselves, taking personal phone calls, smokin and after 30 minutes they said they can not provide drop off since they do not have driver. While confronting they practically threatened me.I dont know how a company like Avis is allowing this franchise.

Don't come on weekdays...only one guy works there. Rented here 2 times had to wait for the guy 3 out of 4 times(pickup/return) 20 min to 1 hr each time.

Horrible employee, rude and unprofessional. Never go to this location.

Rented once, for a long distant drive, 3 days. On return, one of the guys kept insisting that I scratched the rear bumper, when I was sure that it wasn't from me.Make sure you do a walk around and verify prior to renting. Look for deep spots even!!

I had one of the worst experiences dealing with AVIS at the location on Matheson and Derry Rd, Mississauga. We had booked a car to be picked up for 12pm. When we arrived at the location for 12pm, there was no one at the front desk to greet us but instead another customer waiting for service. There was a sign that said be back in 20 min. The employee finally arrived at the location 1pm and offered no apology or explanation. When notified that our pickup time was 12pm, the employee became rude and aggressive. He offered us an ultimatum if we wanted the car or not. I asked the employee to go ahead with the service as I have an infant and needed the vehicle. As I presented him with my credit card, he was not happy with the credit card provided and rudely threw it back at me. I felt so humiliated and uncomfortable that at this time I went ahead and asked for a refund and again he rudely threw the pamphlet at me and left.I wish I read the reviews before coming here as it seems I am not the only one who had a horrible experience with this rental service at this location.THANKFULLY there was a HERTZ rental service across the street, who were very respectful and helped me get a car right away.I have NEVER experienced a car rental service like this before and will no longer be using AVIS again.

DO NOT RECOMMEND USING THIS BRANCH.Had a very negative experience.Store was closed for more than 30 minutes during open hours and the manager on duty(who was a brown guy) TRIED TO BULLY US ON THE BASIS OF OUR SKIN COLOR, WAS EXTREMELY DISRESPECTFUL, UNPROFESSIONAL, DID NOT HELP WITH OUR QUERY. He also kept saying that if we are unhappy than we can go to some other Avis location and they can help and not to waste his time which was the irony as he was the one wasting our time and energy.

People there were very nice and accommodating. The guy helped me modify my reservation and overcame the system that was not responding. They are honest and have plenty of good cars. They also have better prices than enterprise. They are the perfect choice for people coming to or travelling from Toronto Pearson airport. I took an uber to them amd took my rental and it was perfect.

Unprofessional and rude personal, bad conditions office, . . Too many red flags Just run.
