Hidden gem. Everyone should go to this museum at some point as it is must see. The people who work there and give the tours are very knowledgable and friendly. I highly recommend! Such an important part of Alberta and Canada's history.

A treasure and must-see destination for anyone seeking firsthand knowledge of local Indigenous history. Jonathan provided a first rate tour of the gallery, giving meaningful context to the well-curated, comprehensive collection of TsuuT'ina cultural items, including games, tools, and ceremonial items on display. The collection of dress regalia and beadwork is incredible, and learning about the history of the people associated with each display made the exhibit even better. The gift shop has good selection/prices, and as an added bonus, even has a large selection of beading supplies for crafty types!

Truth be told this was a very mixed visit. What was there was lovely. The bead work and leather work was outstanding and the tableaus showing off men and women formal and less formal dress were well done. Personally, I would have liked to have seen a little more of their history. Some of the stuff pre-European settlement. How did the clothes/lifestyle/hunting change as they moved from being part of one confederacy to another? Why did they switch? How did they come to settle here in the first place?

No doubts it is worth to visit. Only $12 for a guided tour, and it helps to support the facility. My only recommendation is to make a few more direction signs, as it is not quite clear where to go especially when you pass a DO NOT PASS sign, and i wasn't confident that I'm doing right driving beyond that sign. Thanks

Came here with my worker and my guide dog, unfortunately couldn't hear what our guide was saying as he was very soft spoken but enjoyed the tour none the less! The desplays were beautiful and all the taxidermy was very clean nothing was dusty etc! A very quiet place to learn!

Went to this museum this week and it was amazing. The best part was that the man working there offered to give us a private tour. He shared so much information about every section on display and I could ask any questions I had. I loved learning more about their history. I had my boys with me and they were also asking questions.

Tsuut'ina Nation Culture Museum is a great little museum with very friendly staff. I would go back for sure! If you do go, be sure to check out the gift shop too: it's full of lots of beautiful local art. :-)Thank you Tsuut'ina Nation for sharing your culture, thank you Hollis for the tour, and thank you Christine for showing us around the gift shop!(My apologies Hollis and Christine if I spelled your names wrong).

I was looking for indeginous painted cards and was pleased with the cards that were sold in the gift shop. It's a bit difficult to find the place, but it was so clean and well taken care of.

I took my post secondary class and we had a great visit. The building is very well set up for groups and our tour guide was welcoming, highly knowledgeable and a gifted storyteller. It was powerful way to learn about the culture and strength of the Tsuut'ina Nation, including in facing colonialism. Highly recommend for school groups, other groups and individuals.
