MNP Debt - Licensed Insolvency Trustees Bankruptcy & Consumer Proposals

I wish my review was a better one, but I am not completely happy with how things went at MNP, my wife and I went there for help and advise, this is not our area of expertise, we are older people and I feel our proposal should have been joint. which originally cost $7500. After the proposal was accepted, we found out one of the banks that accepted the proposal that was in my name only, decided to hold my wife accountable for the debt and harassed her daily for 6 months and this was the same debt they had accepted from me. We now had to go back to MNP and do a separate Proposal for her and pay another $2700 which I do not think was fair. I really feel MNP should have done a better job advising us or at least help try and recover the $2700. The people there were very friendly and easy to talk to I just wish things were handled differently and I would have recommended them to others. The rest of this process has been good.

I dealt with a phenomenal representative, and she was so helpful and accommodating for the fact I was a new mother through the whole process.
