Manitoba Rental Assistance

Extremely rude and condescending when calling to ask for information. Should be fired quite honestly, I'm sure they could hire another receptionist with better communication/people skills. Does not reflect well on the Manitoba Government.

The person that spoke to me on the phone was so rude and made me feel like I’m stupid even though I just needed assistance with the application.I asked what itemized funding letter is and they told me to contact awards office at my school about that. I was not sure if they even have that. They guy on the phone said that I am not understanding anything 3 times and said that he and all of the people at his office also went to university and they know how it works. I said okay.And you know what? I called the awards office. They told me they have no idea what itemized funding letter is and they definitely don’t have it.Thank you Canada for such a pleasurable experience

Almost everytime I call with an inquiry I get a very rude gentleman and im not sure how he even still has his job! He doesn't listen when your speaking he keeps interrupting me while I'm trying to speak and always hangs up with out saying goodbye or anything! Never am I satisfied when I call there when he answers..

RUDE!!!!! Absolutely hate dealing with this staff, they are not helpful at all. Even just hang up on you when you as for help! They need better workers, I’ve been waiting on my rent assistance for 4 months

I give 4 neg stars One staff says I should come another rude grey haired man who totally talked over me says no cannot be done till apps for June r printed .I ask for supervisor and she prints app..this dept is so very unorganized

My dad visited here to submit application but the elderly man with white hair, he was really rude. No greetings, not talking at all, no explanations. Just highlight the paper and left without saying anything. It’s more like ignoring people. I see there are lot of reviews regarding this worker, my dad felt so discriminated and embarrassed. Is he doing this to certain people or is he just like that while getting paid for what he does? If he’s doing this to everybody, i don’t understand how he can keep his job.

Incredibly Helpful For Me Keeping My Rent Assist. The Re-Application was sent well in advance, and, I was told my Proof Of Income" is all I needed to add after filling out the form. After explaining the miscommunication between myself & CRA everything is now cleared up. I will have THAT well in advance

Staff speak over you, very rude and impatient.Bordering on condescending when you politely ask questions

Absolutely horrible service. I am bawling my eyes out in tears from how incredibly rude the “gentleman” is that works the phone as well as one of the ladies. I have never in my life had somebody talk to me so horrendous and demeaning. Extremely unprofessional and very un empathetic for anyone. Absolutely disgusting. I will be reporting and I hope others do as well. Why would you work in place meant to help families and people of all walks of life only to be such an awful person and ruin their day. When someone is reaching out for help, it is your job to help provide recourses, be a kind human and to be helpful. I could never treat someone or speak to someone so poorly.

the customer service of this org is horrible. What is the use of your customer service phone number if you will just say I'm not supposed to answer a call and leave to do with the manager." but this dude answer the phone LOL! they only take your phone and name and wait till they call you back.
