I came in to try and return an item without a gift receipt. One of the customer service reps in the store told me I need a receipt to return so I need to ask it from whoever gifted the item to us. I asked if it is possible to look it up in the system because other stores (not Toys R Us) can initiate store credit without needing a receipt. She then raised her voice and was so loud stating the same that without receipt, she cannot do anything. Why does she have to be so rude by raising her voice? Everyone in the store can literally hear her. I am so disappointed and upset with they way I was treated.

Patrick is so wonderful! He went above and beyond to help me with the Easter Lego. He knows how to create happy, loyal and returning customers. I will never go back to this store. The guy just emptied my shopping cart in front of my eyes. Also everything here is 10-20% more exp than online stores. When I asked if they price match, i heard a firm NO. As such, I'd expect ToysRNotUs to go banckrupt in a couple of years :(

I was at ToysRUs Coquitlam with my family on Friday to take advantage of the BOGO 50% sale on books. I was amazed at the selection of books that the store has. Patrick was extremely helpful, friendly and so knowledgeable not just about toys but about books too. I love shopping at this location because of the helpful and friendly staff like Patrick. I will definitely recommend shopping at this location to all my bookworm friends.Thank you so much, Patrick for making our shopping experience so amazing. Keep up the great job!

Wow. All I can say is wow. I have not been to Toys “R” Us for over 20 years. And I guarantee I will never go back. My son received a $25 toy for Christmas, that didn’t work, and all I wanted to do was exchange it for something else in the store. We drove all the way out from Chilliwack. Which is a 1 Hour Drive only to be told that we couldn’t do any exchange without a receipt. We never got one and the lady was not nice about. I am severely disappointed. Even Canadian tire has a better exchange policy. I will not support a corporation that has such poor HR. Go to your local toy store and support the small business. Bunch of balogne. We left the toy at the store and walked out. Not even an apology.

Unbelievable experience. From the moment I and a few of my friends walked in, they took a close look at us by sending a few people in to follow us. Even in one instance, one of the staff took a shopping card pretending to be a customer and started following us.Why the he'll do you think we came in to steal the stuff in your store !!? Super unprofessional and disrespectful !! Bought a Monopoly board game but already regretting my decision .AVOID !!
