I was referred by one of my friends to Doctor Shehla Ebrahim. My experience (Nov, 2019) was disappointing from the beginning to the end. I didn’t want to write this review but i finally convinced myself to leave it today. My friend told me she is not a dermatologist but she is really knowledgeable. I called the office to have an appointment. The receptionist Vicky doesn’t take the job seriously. I left a voicemail, but she didn’t get back to me. After calling the office almost every day, I had a chance to speak with her. She told me they are fully booked and it will take me a month to book an appointment, but she will get back to me. Ok, she didn’t and I called back and after few calls, finally she gave me an appointment. When I went there, there was a sign that she is not a dermatologist and I was like ok, as long as she can help me with my problem, is fine. After a long wait, I had a chance to speak with her.on top of that, she was asking me to let another male doctor shadowing her. I said it’s ok. When I discussed my issue with her, she simply said, I don’t know. I was very upset as it took me so many calls and follow up to get an appointment and now she is telling me I don’t know. Like , if you don’t know, just ask someone who knows, why are you even book an appointment for a skin problem if you can’t help me? I hope the service gets better.

Visited Shehla Ebrahim for an aesthetic procedure recently. She is very knowledgable and expert in her field and a very down to earth person. She guides you sincerely and provides the best service.

I have been seeing Dr Ebrahim since August 2022 for my skin and it honestly changed my life (sounds dramatic, but its the truth). I am 29 years old and have struggled with acne since I was 12. Anyone who struggles with acne knows how taxing it can be on you both mentally and physically. I had tried just about everything and nothing worked. For the first time ever I do not have to worry about getting breakouts or even a single pimple! When we first met she promised me that my breakouts would be gone in 6 months and I was of course skeptical after struggling for most of my life with this seemingly unsolvable problem... but she came through and MY ACNE IS GONE! I have never been more confident in my own skin and sometimes can not even believe what I am seeing in the mirror. Her treatment plan was gentle and did not cause any harsh side effects, which is something that I was concerned about. She is so kind and attentive and I would recommend anyone struggling with acne or any other skin issues to see Dr E for dermatology in Vancouver!

My experience with Dr. Ebrahim at her office in West Vancouver has been nothing less than fantastic. She knows her stuff. Her skincare expertise a long with her techniques within the session is resolving my issue. On top of that she is kind hearted and always sees you with a smile. I sought out an eczema specialist for my daughter, and came across Dr. Ebrahim. We did have to wait a while, despite booking a private appointment, but under the circumstances it was quite worth it. She was fully present, lovely, knowledgeable and completely unrushed. I wish all doctors were like that! Medically, she knew exactly what was going on and prescribed an ointment that cleared the eczema completely within 3 days. 50% better after only one application. Previously we had been to our GP who prescribed a cream that didn't have much of an effect. So thank you very much Dr. Ebrahim! We are grateful.

I have been referred to Dr. Ebrahim because of my cystic acne and scarring which started from my early 20s. I came to a point of desperation and would literally try anything but Dr. Ebrahim was very upfront on what she thinks will work for me. My mind was made up on trying photodynamic therapy but before the treatment, she explained its pros and cons. She’s honest, direct and truly cares about her patients, which is very rare these days. She made me try her magic concoction and I am more than happy with the results. I highly recommend her! She’s a wonderful person and an amazing doctor!

I made an appointment for acne and a rash that wasn’t going away. Dr Ebrahim was friendly, efficient and informative in my consultation. In no way did I feel rushed or ignored, and she was thorough with her questions and very helpful with advice. I’m relieved they were able to fit me in as the wait time was otherwise three months!The only issue I had was the wait. I arrived on time but had to wait 30 mins before being seen. Otherwise the consultation experience itself was flawless, professional and addressed my needs. Am definitely coming back!
