Ba Le Surrey

I work and live in the Guildford area. I also grew up attending one of the nearby high schools and have been buying my banh mi sandwiches from this location inside TNT food court since a young age. I would definitely recommend any of their sandwiches, I like the #6 chicken sandwich personally with some spice and an optional paté (liver spread) if you’d like (have to request for it). Other than their sandwiches, this Guildford location also makes an elite line of desserts when in season. For the desserts I’d recommend their white or yellow bean sesame balls and the classic turon (deep fried banana coated with something special) personal favourite to pair with my banh mi!

Was so happy that Surrey location was opened as I couldn’t reach the Vancouver before it closed. Very friendly lady helped me :).

This place is worlds apart from the 2 locations in vancouver, I guess that's why their names spelt differently ? They only take cash and from the toppings to the bread, it was cold and it didn't taste fresh, it tasted like something I could drum up at home, it was disappointing cause I been a fan of bai le subs since childhood, if you want the original taste and freshness of a viet sub, I suggest vancouver, if you're looking for subpar subs for a quick fix I suppose this would do ?

Finally a local premium Banh Mi shop in Surrey!I so dig the Banh Mi here...the savoury liver pate',the spicy red chili's, salty beef, bright cilantro,cool cucumber and all hand made in-house piled high on a soft fresh French roll by a sweet humble lady with such culinary prowess and skill.Banh u, banh me, Banh everyone at Ba Le" Surreyin T 'n' T market.U should.go

Don't let the looks fool you. If you want traditional Bhan Mi sandwiches then this is the place. Their bread is crunchy yet chewy and they put the right amount of everything. In my opinion the special is the best. I would have these sandwiches over any Subway sandwiches anytime.I don't live close to Guildford so when I am there I order a lot and have them the next day too.

Darn these sandwiches are good, and for a good price. Try it, you'll like it.

Not owned by the same owners of the Kingsway and Broadway location in Vancouver. You won't have the same experience at this place as you would in the Vancouver locations. The bread is not light and crunchy, but thick and fluffy - to each their own I guess. Two stars because the meat still tastes good.

Don't make the mistake of thinking this is the same as the Vancouver Kingsway Ba Le. Baguettes weren't as nice, they didn't have meatballs, toppings were sparse, no roasted pork. One of my sandwiches was marinated pork" which looked like sliced pork in the menu pic but what I got instead was some sauced up spam slices."

#5 house special & #11 marinated pork.A bit stingy on the toppings, was neither good or bad. The marinated pork isn't what I expected, it does look like spam, but it isn't. I thought it'd be more like BBQ pork as there isn't that option on their menu. Their bread is a lot more chewy than I'm used to, would be nice if it were more crispy but I guess that's how it is here :).

Co worker got me bale sandwich from vancouver bale bakery, it was so good.. today I saw there's a bale in 104th TNT supermarket mall. Tried a chicken sandwich, the bread very dry, chicken tastes weird, totally not the same in comparison to the vancouver bale. Are they same owner or no? the most disgusting thing is THEY DON'T WEAR GL0VES when making the sandwich. Well anyway, will not buy from them again.
