Dr Werle has done resurfacing on both my hips, 6 years apart and they have been life changing. From being crippled to skiing to the South Pole with no issues is miraculous. He is a top notch surgeon.

Dr Kelly de Sousa operated on my knee over a year ago and made it much worse than it was before the operation. I have worked very hard to regain and maintain the functionality but it is painful all the time now. After complaining about the problem for months de-Sousa said he would fix it before he retired last month but he didn't bother to make the arrangements to do so. The staff is very friendly as they put you off and tell you wait just a while longer but for over a year now, no one has bothered to fix the problem they have made much worse than it was. A nice rich retirement for the doctor who doesn't care about the operation he botched and a miserable retirement for me.

Five weeks after total knee replacement, my physiotherapist told me I am ahead of schedule and have exceptional range of motion. Thank you Dr. Ng, although I have a lot of work to accomplish, in having all my knee strength back. I believe you did an incredible job on this old guy, the future is bright again.

The receptionist at the main desk with red/pink hair was very rude and unprofessional. Made comments to the other patient that she doesn’t want them to be here (referring to us)maybe she thought I didn’t understand english. I asked for masks and she made a huffing sound like I asked her to do something out of her job description. Clearly she was not happy to assist patients, was very unwelcoming.

My visit was great! Professional staff and polite.Met with the ortho screener who was a delight.Only draw back is the wait time to finally get okayed for surgery and then have a surgery date. The long wait time will continue to decrease my quality of life. It's disheartening,I'm hoping for a Miracle.

My husband went to Dr. Edward Rendall for rotator cuff/torn tendon repair surgery. The supraspinatus was torn and had bone spurs that needed to be repaired. My husband lifts weights/ 45 years old. Lifting weights is his passion. Dr. Rendall told my husband he was a great candidate for full recovery thats why he decided to go ahead with the surgery. Had the surgery and 3 weeks later he went in for a follow up. My husband knew something was wrong. He had pain where there wasn't pain before but Dr.Rendall insisted there was nothing wrong. 3 total follow ups and he still insisted nothing was wrong (no imaging was done nothing).... my husband gave up.. he went on a ton of meds (the worst ones), he attempted to end his life 3 times. Completely ruined his life. After my husband showed him all the meds, Dr.Rendall suggested a referral to his colleague Dr. Stewart. Fyi Dr. Rendall's attitude was very dismissive, condescending and just didn't seem to care. So my husband went to see Dr.Steward 3 years later!!!!!! Dr. Stewart actually got my husband in for an MRI. The day he sat down to go over the MRI, Stewart said you have an injury there but I won't help you"

Fantastic outcomes > had my left hip done six weeks ago and my right knee replaced one year ago (both by Dr Raj Sharma) > was out of the hospital the same day and experienced rapid recovery both times. Didn't even need all the pain killers.Thank you to the Calgary paper doing an article on Dr Sharma tipping me off to his more advanced approaches to surgery. Six years ago i had my left knee replaced in BC and it was an agonizing recovery > the difference was like night and day.

I think the whole process is absolute waste of time and resources and Alberta health care $$$A referral is sent by a referring doctor, this clinic apparently goes over you're MRI and xrays, depending on what they see they accept you or they deny you. If you're acepted a letter is sent saying so, then you wait 9 months to do a MSK screening which takes all of 5 minutes and have a doctor who is at least 80 years old telling you to do the things you've been doing (cortisone shots, physical therapy and Radio Frequency Ablation plus tramadol and celecoxib plus working out 5 times a week) the past year which none of these are working. And recommend a brace that is so expensive thats not covered unless your 65.and can't afford. seriously stop wasting alberta health care money on theses doctors doing these screenings.Cut this part of the process out . Initially when you accept a patient after going over their file, right there right then you should know if you can help them. Love the booklets telling you to take Tylenol and the part when the doctor tells you to come back if the pain doesn't go away . Don't waste your time going unless you are 65 years and older. So disappointed and defeated
