Janis is amazing! She is so good with the dogs! Marlee loves her! We got him a little older and she has been such a big help with understanding his mannerisms! She is absolutely incredible and I recommend her to anyone!

Janis is great! I highly recommend her for anyone who needs help with their pup. The second she walked in I noticed how well prepared she was for our session. Lyra (my pup) loved her as well. She answered my looong list of questions and still answers my question/ gives me recommendations through email whenever I need her, which has helped me so much as I raise my puppy alone. We absolutely LOVED working with Janis via Zoom to train us to train our Puppy Samoyed, Aspen. Janis offered a wealth of information along the way, was always available for questions, sent a summary of our session, with more information and training homework to back up everything that we had chatted about. I can confidently say that her value is worth its weight in gold, it is essential to have Janis and her expertise to help navigate you through puppy hood. We are super new, both of us have never owned a dog, so anxious to make sure that we were always handling Aspen and all the things that being a puppy brings in the best way possible. We were also conscientious of Janis's training method, it was essential that it wasn't in a militarian/disciplinary fashion that would break our puppy's spirit , since he is super sweet, friendly, vocal and full of energy. We love the breed for this reason, we just needed to know how best to teach mannerism and how to be calm when needed. Janis is a Rockstar at her craft, super fun and we would highly recommend her to anyone that needs puppy or dog training, in fact don't even think twice, it's a must. How we started vs how its going? We were a hot mess with our puppy running, jumping and barking on our walks and now we can walk in a cool, calm and confident manner with Aspen by our side, without worry that he will bark, jump up on or chase anything that moves. Do NOT hesitate to hire Janis to train your pup! I spent a lot of time researching online what to look for when hiring a trainer and came across Janis website. She ticked all the boxes and so we chose the 6 week puppy package. It was the best gift we could have given ourselves and our puppy. She had him sitting and laying down within minutes. She is professional and personable. Our puppy is now 10 months old and people constantly comment on how well behaved he is. Thanks Janis!

Janis is an excellent dog trainer. She gave us a lot of confidence with our new puppy and taught us how to handle different phases and stages. The training is going really well, he has shown improvement in his walks, his hyperactivity and overall obedience. Janis is very knowledgeable and up to date with her training methods. We did our puppy foundations training with Janis and she was amazing. She was extremely helpful and taught us a lot, our puppy still needs a lot of work but was a great foundation. There are so many options online and I am so happy that we choose her.

We ended up booking her 5 session package -- she is extremely knowledgeable about animal psychology, conditioning techniques and always came to sessions with practical suggestions for new puppy owners such as ourselves. She made a strong connection with our little puppy Luna immediately, and really helped us in developing the skills needed to be effective puppy parents (feeding strategies, prompts, household training). I truly believe Janis' philosophy and approach to training and paw-renthood, is flawless.Following our initial phone call, just a couple days after bringing my puppy home, Janis had my dog loving her crate and sleeping through the night – with just a few quick tips! Though at first I was hesitant to do virtual training sessions, I felt Janis was present and hands-on the entire time, even through the screen. Her instruction was straight forward and her guidance was patient and gentle. Her program was flexible and she really personalized each session to the areas in which I felt I needed the most help.
