Chinook Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery

I highly recommend Dr.Olsen for Wisdom Teeth removal. I had all 4 of mine removed yesterday and it was the best first experience considering I’ve never had surgery before. He’s very friendly, patient, caring knowledgeable and understanding. Dr.Olsen and his team made my experience very comfortable, easy and quick.

I was explaining my reoccurring jaw pain issues with Bill, asking for a cone beam xray and further investigation. My jaw pain has become excruciatingly worsesince my last exam with an oral pathologist there.Bill is office admin, but was giving me advice like he was an oral surgeon or dentist which is not his place to and grilling me in an aggressive manor. Then his behavior became insulting, accusatory and aggressive; and he hung up on me mid sentence! Extremely unprofessional and rude. I've been in the Dental industry for 33 years and find that behavior unacceptable. My husband heard the whole conversation and was shocked. I called right back immediately and spoke to the receptionist. She was sincerely apologetic and very kind. Kudos to her professionalism.

Dr Goth is absolutely amazing, he performed my wisdom teeth removal and helped me during the after process. He's been extremely kind and helpful with everything. Makes the process of all of the procedures less frightening and is very reassuring. The ladies that assist him are great, very helpful and knowledgeable as well. I highly recommend Dr Goth!

Had a 1 star experience with Chinook. I was referred by my dentist due to “flaps” under my tongue as my new dentist stated he’d never seen them before and just wanted to get them checked. Waited 40 minutes in the room before anyone seen me, then was asked why I was there after explaining my dentist referred me due to these flaps and he stated “um are they bothering you?” Which I responded no and then he looked for 30 seconds and said “these are normal anatomy of the tongue” and proceeded to ask how old my dentist was and stated “he needs a refresher” with a eye roll. He also told me I could just google it. Felt very condescending and rude as I was just attending the referral made by my dentist. It was not my choice to spend $220 for a professional to tell me to google it. Will not be back for any further referrals

Had my wisdom tooth extraction done in two appointments because of how my benefits were structured. The whole staff were excellent from start to finish. The receptionist called me to make the appointment soon after the referral came in. My initial consultation was welcoming and set the tone comfortably. The accounts lady was very good at breaking down the costs so I could clearly communicate with my benefits provider. I had oral sedation both times and the first time it really knocked me for a loop. This time was a much more typical experience and I didn’t fall asleep. Both times the staff were very professional and friendly. They made sure that I got the prescriptions I needed and even faxed them ahead to my pharmacist so I could pick them up with no delay. When I had some pain a week or so later, I called them and they got me in immediately to ensure that I was able to get through the weekend without discomfort. They all answered every question I had and made me feel good about the whole experience. I highly recommend Dr. Goth and the entire team at Chinook Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery!

I was referred to Chinook for my wisdom teeth removal surgery in May and my experience was excellent.I have always been so nervous when it comes to any kind of dental work or surgery. From the moment I walked in, the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The same thing goes for the procedure and afterwards. I had a few complications directly after surgery and once I arrived home. It is safe to say the staff truly do care about your well-being, not just when you’re in their care. I had a staff member, Bill, contact me each day to check in, offer assistance, and wish me well. He was very kind and genuinely concerned. All in all, it was a great experience under the circumstances. Thank you Chinook staff!

This was my second time having a wisdom tooth extracted due to breaking. It seemed he had it out in under a minute. My whole appointment was less then 10 minutes. Super friendly staff that was very thorough. Called me at home the night of my appointment and check to see how everything was. Dr. Olsen is great dentist that cares for his patients.

I came in to have my wisdom teeth removed. I have been waiting years to have this done, due to having great fear of the dentist. Dr. Olsen and his assistant did a great job keeping me calm throughout the procedure. They are very efficient and it was over before I knew it. I would highly recommend Dr. Olsen and his team for your dental work.
