My husband and i came here for a fancy dinner while on our honeymoon in tofino. A single plate we shared cost nearly 200$ and with each of having a single drink and tip it came to 260$ after taxes. the food was amazing, however after being seated, our waitress checked on us maybe 3 times and when we asked for the bill it took her nearly 15 minutes to bring it, in a restaurant that wasn’t overly busy. when booking our reservation we had mentioned it was our honeymoon and it wasn’t even acknowledged. food was good, however prices and service is lacking.

74 years in business with the same family. The food is fantastic. The staff is friendly and efficient. It is best to make a reservation. This place is very popular for a reason.

Justin was AMAZING, the food was AMAZING, Schooner was AMAZING!!! The seafood was so fresh, the food was delicious, the drinks were strong, it was incredible! My fiancé and I were celebrating our engagement, and Justin made it so special! He was hilarious, excited to talk to us, and ready to help or give suggestions in any way he could. He was so personable that my fiancé and I even became friends with the table next to us because of him! I really hope Schooner recognizes how lucky they are to have someone like him on their team. We will certainly be back, not just for the food, but for JUSTIN!

My wife and I enjoyed a meal here at the end of May 2022. It was one of our best meals in a long time. Our server was very attentive and personable. We are not very adventurous eaters, and had the salmon and ribs. Both were top notch. The ambience was really nice, had a view out the big windows. Dessert was peanut butter pie, and was delicious. If you want a nice meal, and love seafood or steak I think you will enjoy this spot!

Great spot for dinner. We went during the off-season. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. Make your reservations as far ahead as you can.Originall, we hadn't planned on eating here, but we ended up staying in the area another day. I'm so glad we decided to eat here.

It was nice, because of the place and because of the Others guests. Instead of Others Restaurants in the Village you are Able to Chat There. We recommend seafood. My friend loved it. The Steak wasn't soft or sooo tasty.Staff was great. Nice wine and Beer.

I started with a plate of fresh oysters, and they were perfectly shucked and tasted marvelous.But the real highlight of the meal was the signature dish - seafood chowder. It was easily one of the best chowders I've ever had. The broth was creamy and flavorful, and it was packed with fresh seafood like shrimp, scallops, and clams. Definitely a must-try dish.Moreover, the service was fantastic. I received kind and attentive service throughout my meal, and the staff was accommodating with all my requests.Overall, I highly recommend dining at this seafood and steak restaurant. Order the seafood chowder, and you won't be disappointed!

This 2-story restaurant with its deep roots in Tofino (since 1949) serves some of the most tempting dishes around. While there is some outdoor seating on the deck by the entrance, my party of eight (8) preferred the cooler seating inside on the second floor. (Bonus: great views of Tofino through the large picture windows) Our server was very personable, efficient & attentive. I enjoyed the halibut (stuffed with baby shrimp, creamy Brie, Jack cheese & scallions) topped with an apple-brandy creamy sauce, and served atop a bed of rice with grilled vegetables. For dessert, the chocolate pecan pie with vanilla ice cream was divine. Highly recommend.

This place was recommended both by my hotel and to-eat lists of Tofino, no wonder! Great service from the staff and excellent food from the kitchens plus lovely waterfront views. Truly what you expect from a vacation!
