Chorizo Fresh Mex | Home | We learned how to make Mexican food from the source. We spent weeks learning the trade in Mexico at local tacquierias, and realized that it was the fresh ingredients and passion for preparation that separated authentic Mexican tacos and burritos from their north-of-the-border counter parts. We made it our mission to bring to our customers only the freshest food, prepared each and every morning. Four different flavours of mouth-watering salsas, straight-from-the-avocado guacamole, crisp vegetables, and quality meats all combine to create an exemplary food experience.

Chorizo Fresh Mex
Love the decor of the new restaurant with attentive service to ensure patrons were assisted with the new menu. I had the taco combo (chicken and steak) with a side drink and chips. Overall the tacos tasted good - well prepared, fresh and a variety of toppings. The chipotle sauces were an awesome touch and added an authentic flavour shot to the Mexican food.My only feedback would be that if a restaurant is going to charge north of $17 for combos then food portions could be a little more generous. Tacos and tortillas are all gluten based (wheat flour).I ordered dos churros as dessert that came with caramel dipping sauce on the side. Gluten free options are limited to rice bowls and the corn chips.

The person who is took my order had hard time communicating. Overall the food wasn't good.The portions are way too small for the price. There is better options for Mexican food in Whitby. Don't waste your money on this place.

The people that work here and friendly and welcoming, when it gets busy it’s a tad confusing to who’s already ordered and who’s in line etc needs some hanging “order here” signs or something. The tacos were ok I just feel like since they’re super stuffed it gets messy quick, almost like they need to double tortilla the tacos or something. Not a big fan of chorizo (the sausage) mix and this place didn’t change my mind, the chicken was good but this is more of a local chipotle kinda option but decent nonetheless just not the authentic Mexican. Clean space to dine in if needed def great value but lacking flavour. 3.5/5⭐️

Found hair in Vegetarian Burrito combo. Very disturbing. Did not eat. Threw away $20 meal. Reported it in Skip the Dishes as we placed it via there. No response. Either restaurant ignored feedback / or Skip did not read it or never forwarded to Chorizo. No sense going further with the help option as it may turn out to be complementary from same place.. which can risk another bad experience. Pretty much 100% not ordering from here again or recommending to anyone else. Unfortunate, as prior meals we had before were fine.

The staff Amandeep shingh and manreet kaur was great and they were very helpful, it was my first time and wasn’t disappointed with the food 10/10 for the quantity and for quantity of food. I would recommend that definitely

Food was fresh and tasty. Burritos and bowls are the same price which was refreshing. There’s different options to combo up any burrito. We spent $16 for a veggie bowl with chips, queso and a pop. The music and ambience is light and airy. Felt like summer! It was a bright and cheerful experience overall.

Portions are quite small. They really need to give you more rice when you get a burrito bowl. Sometimes they only put one scoop in which is fine if you're getting a burrito but not a burrito bowl. All the toppings look fresh. Guacamole does not have any flavor though and I really wish they had some other sauces. Good service though

Went to try this place today. Got a couple of tacos and guacamole and a drink. The tacos are pretty good, interesting flavour as it’s not a traditional Mexican taco. The guacamole had no flavour. The decor is nice. The chips they have as an interesting spice to it, it’s not Mexican spice.
